Sears in Nashua, New Hampshire - Delivery of scratched and dented refrigerator

On 5/3/10 a delivery of a refrigerator was done to our home. The warehouse is located in Kingston NH and we cannot believe the gross negligence taken by these people. The delivery men opened the box and the refrigerator had several dents and scratches on the doors and handles. These had to be noticed by the warehouse personnel as the product was re-boxed for delivery. I feel that some kind of compensation for my trouble (a gift card or no charge for delivery would be nice). Apologies are not good should not have happened in first place.

Sears service

Our "top of the line" Sears stove broke March 28, oven will not heat. Sears has changed appointment twice to come look at stove, finally got here on April 22nd to look at stove and order parts. Now have changed the appointment to come and put in parts!! Going on 6 weeks without a stove!! When you call customer service they read to you off a script and talk in like you are inconveniencing them!! I will NEVER buy another thing from Sears or K-Mart due to the poor customer service I have recieved!!! Daisy in customer service was rude!! If I ever talked to anyone like that in my job I would not have a job!!!

Sears in Madison, Wisconsin - Not smart enough to work fast food...

The personnel in 2 branches of their stores do not know anything about the equipment they sell. It took repeated trips to locate an oil filter for my lawn tractor. I was planning on buying more tools. Never again...

Sears customer service

I purchased a gas slide in range from SEARS (very exspensive). It arrived in two days, great. All the parts were not included. After spending 1hr and 40 mins on the phone with customer service I was told the part would take 10 days to ship. They took away my old range and left me with nothing to cook on for my family of 6 for 10 days. The worst customer service ever. No one cared about my complaint they justed follwed the compy script. I amd and not going to take it anymore! If you want good customer service do not go to SEARS

Sears in Cincinnati, Ohio - Televisions Bait & Switch

Store #2030 Elizabethtown, KY does bait and switch with their TVs and Appliances, the TV Sears had on sale was not in stock Sears tried to sell me a $1699.99 TV that was not on sale and cost more than 300% more than the original!!. It happened to me and 2 other people on the same day!!! I just can not believe that a great store like Sears would so something like this. It is vary unethical and most importantly illegal. I call corporate head quarters to no avail, they just give me a run around and just keep keep putting me off. I have an attorney and will file a lawsuit in federal court for the illegal actions

Good luck with calling that a "bait and switch" Sears offers literally hundreds of televisions, just because the one that was advertised is out of stock at your store doesn't mean that you can't order it, or something similar.

I work as a Consultative Sales Rep for a Sears store and sorry to say, there is no "bait & switch" involved in any of our practices or training. I don't doubt that the TV was out of stock, that does happen.

And I don't doubt that the associate tried to sell you a different TV -- that's their job. In your defense, it was *** of the associate to try and sell you something clearly out of your price range when you were trying to purchase something that was on sale in the first place. That was bad judgment on their part.

But when something is out of stock, it simply is.

If it wasn't discontinued or on clearance, they should have offered to order you one or gave you a raincheck. That's bad customer service. But I can promise you, there's no bait & switch practices involved with our selling.

I strongly dislike my job and the way Sears is heading as a company, but I can safely say your experience was just poor customer service brought on by an employee who clearly wasn't making enough in commission that day and was trying to pull one over on you. That was the associates fault, nothing to do with Sears as a whole or any kind of trickery on the company's behalf.

My wife purchased a recumbent excerciser from Sears in Salem New Hampshire on Jan 31,2010 for $229.00 plus $50 for a 2 year service agreement. I picked up the equipment the next week and assembled the bike. Immediately it was apparent that there was a missing peice....

I think you must have miss read the facts -

1. The bike came with parts missing from the box

2. Followed the Sears process for missing parts for 3 months, before attempted to return it

3. Yeah they were willing to exchange the bike, but not warranty the exchange

What part of getting what you paid for did you miss here?

Sears would not honor advertised price

I was shopping for a Samsung Refrigerator RF266AEPN on 4/24/2010 at around 10:15pm Pacific time. The price as advertised on the webpage was $1329.99 and 4/24 was the last day for the promotion, and when I added to the cart, it was still showing $1329.99. However, shortly after I read through all the different installation options and warranty options, I noticed my final price has changed to $1899.99. The Sears home page was still advertising the 30% off energy star product, and I still see the $1329.99 price being advertised. So I don't understand why I'm being charged the original price of $1899.99. I suspect this is false advertisement and a blatant attempt to cheat the customers. Repeated calls to Sears have not help resolved this issue, and one rep even hung up on me

Sears would not honor their advertised price with me either. On 4/23 they had a sign up advertising 15% off Kenmore appliances if you use your Sears card and free delivery and haul away.

The manager in the store said they forgot to take the sign down and it wasn't in the appliance section (it was by the register near the appliance section) and she would not honor it.

I don't care if it was in WalMart, if they have the sign up they should honor it! This happened in the store in Burlington, NC

Service
Sears Installation

Sears in Montgomery, Alabama - Three visits, still have a broke mower.

After three visits and 900 dollars my mower is still broke. First it was a switch, then a harness, then a clutch and now who knows what. I have a zero turn that is 4 years old with low miles. The so called service department tells me I have to wait another week to have someone out to fix it again. No compensation for the time I have a spent waiting from 1 to 5 each time they have come out. The people at the service/scheduling department are great at saying NO or I can't do that... they are horribly trained at providing actual customer service. No control and no ability to make it right. Sears should give these people some leeway in making decisions to keep clients. I asked for a refund for the last visit...which included a 400 part I didn't need and was told they couldn't refund. Absolute worst service I have ever had. If not for the mower being so new and with few hours, I would dumpt it and buy a different, more reliable brand.

Well Mr. Sears employee....My riding mower is broke as well and IS still under warranty and the service I'm getting is NO BETTER!

The service guy never showed up after I waited all afternoon and claims to have called because he couldn't find the place....B/S.

It's easy to find and NOBODY actually called. Short and Sweet.....SEARS SUCKS!!

I work the lawn and garden section and I do realize the hassle of dealing with service and sears as company in general. There is a problem...you have a mower that is 4 years old.

AE Factory service ie Sears, is expensive and a waste of time unless you have a repair agreement or under the 1 year warranty. Your better off using a local repair shop instead. Or another option is take the time to learn how to effectively troubleshoot your lawn mower and fix it your self. As far as more reliable brands...

good luck because not everything is made like it used to be.

Sorry not everything you buy is gonna last 20 years and when it breaks you can return it. Good luck to you and your busted mower.

Sears in Brookhaven, Mississippi - Unresponsive to urgent business needs

I run a Bed and Breakfast and purchased a refrigerator from Sears 6 months ago. Today, April 22, one day to the exact date of purchase, the refrigerator gave out. I am about to lose all the food in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments and have guests coming in the day after tomorrow. I am livid. The customer "service" department cannot get anyone here to take care of my problem until April 29. That is ONE WEEK!! And of ourse, it must be my fault that I can't afford to buy an additional refrigerator to protect myself from situations like this. When I got violently miffed over the fact that I am about to lose inventory and perhaps even customers because of Sears's inability to provide emergency response, the THIRD person I had to speak to in order to explain my dilemma did not want to be yelled at and hung up on me. I tend to be a loyal customer. I am slowly updating my kitchen. Sears has not earned my loyalty. I am taking my future business elsewhere and directing everyone I know that is getting ready to purchase new appliances AWAY from Sears.

Go to the store. They can give you a loaner for emergency situations like this...or my old store did. If you have a protection agreement you can request to rent one and be rembersed

Sears Blue Crew cannot fix appliances.

Sears Blue Crew is a crock. They are not certified to fix anything. A tech came to the house 3 times, charged me for parts I returned and changed the description in the system to say the charge was for service fees on a part that I didn't even have and I had a receipt with a part number and the amount charge. I begged the person on the phone to lookup the part and get the price, but she refused. I had UPS receipts from Sears requesting the pickup and receipts the tech gave me for charges. Be aware of these tricks
