Sears Appliances not so Great
My husband & I have always thought Sears had the best appliances. Both of our parents had always bought from Sears. After building a new home and buying all new appliances I must say I am not to pleased. First I'll start with the fridge. The biggest problem is the icemaker. It always makes too much ice. Even it I put the switch on small. Everytime I open the bottom freezer door I have ice all over the floor. The other problem is that the lightbulb never shut off when the doors were closed. The plastic covering melted. The fridge got so hot from the heat of the bulb that all my food got spoiled. The handles for the crisper drawers always break. I just think Sears quality has changed, and its not for the better.

SEARS denied my (640) credit score on a $800 T.V.
Unbelievable! I have recently started to establish my credit and so far have a 640 credit score! Sears denied me and said the best way to obtain Good credit - is to..go buy a car! Go buy a car to get a Sears credit card? I was looking at a big screen tv for apprx. $700.00 and able to put 1/2 down on it- (Christmas gift).. I was DENIED. Sears is not all that.. I went to MACIAS FURNITURE in Riverside and got my TV. Another thing- they had no credit applications IN ENGLISH! I will never shop at Sears again.

Sears Home Delivery - Good Luck
We ordered a new Kenmore refrigerator and range on 12/6 which we were told would be delivered on 12/11. After removing everything from the refrigerator and having verbal confirmation that everything would be delivered, the refrigerator was no place to be seen. Once we called AFTERWARDS, we were told that it was not available and wouldn't be delivered until 12/18. Put everything back in the fridge. Remove everything from the refrigerator again on 12/18, and one shows up, BUT it had a large dent in the door. We scheduled a replacement due on 12/26. Again, after getting a confirmation on 12/25, removing everything from the refrigerator AGAIN, calling after the 2 hour window to be told that it was on it's way but late, we then call a second time to find out that it won't be delivered until 1/3. No phone call to tell us that it wasn't coming, actually TOLD that it WAS coming, and now this. All day at home for nothing. OK...put everything back into the fridge so that we can empty it out again on 1/3 for the 4th time and spend another day waiting to see if something appears.

Do not buy from Sears. If you have any type of problem their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. From the in store managers all the way up to the highest level of corporate. They will lie and treat you rudely. Stay away from sears! I got the run around by every sears associate who claimed they wanted to help. I was hung up on multiple times when calling in to find out the status after not hearing anything on the days they said they would contact me. And was even told by the blue ribbon services that i would have to talk with the CEO because he makes the ultimate decision on my problem. Just ridiculous!
Sears in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Free Standing Oven not heating up
Recently we have purchased a free standing oven from Sears. Before the delivery Sears could not of been more helpful. But as soon as we received the appliance it would not work properly. Sears stated they would be out on 12-23-2009 between 8am and 5pm. We waited all day and they were a no show,no call... WE, and I repeat, WE contacted Sears at 4:30pm and they informed us that they will not be out because of a set back with the service repair man. Not only that, Sears also kindly informed us that they will not be out until January 4th 2010. That means no oven for the Holidays. I guess Sears only cares until the product gets delivered...then its on you.

Holy Cow, I will NEVER buy anything from Sears.com again! Same complaint as others here, my order has not arrived when promised. UPS tracking info say " Billing Information Received", but has not actually shipped. My original order was for three items, I then received an email stating one of the items was out of stock, so down to two items. Next I get an email telling me "Your item is ready for In Store Pickup", even though it was to be shipped. I contacted customer service through their "Live Chat" feature (which, by the way is now inactive!), and was told that the email was in error and I would receive the package at home. So I waited.... The package was supposed to arrive Yesterday ( I paid for Next Day Air), but is still listed as "Billing Information Received", which means it was never picked up by UPS. I will not receive the package for the Holiday. I called the customer service line, and spoke to Luella, she told me she couldn't cancel my order because it had been proccesed, that means I have to pay next day shipping on an item I may not get for weeks. She also told me the in store pickup item was actually out of stock, but once they got it in it would be shipped to the store, they would then ship it to me!???!! She told me to call 800 549 4505 to complain, there I spoke to Melissa, she told me to call 800 349 4358. I called that number and spoke to Doug, he uselessly told me to call 800 549 4505 again! Just for grins I called that number again, and spoke to Lorenzo, he told me I had to call 800 549 4505! When I explained to this Rocket Scientist that was the number I just called, he said that's all he could do for me! So now I have none of the items originally ordered, and no chance of getting them for Xmas. I don't have any idea when they will arrive, yet I still have to pay the Next Day shipping charge. On top of that I get the Royal Run-Around from customer service!!! All I can say is BEWARE OF BUYING FROM SEARS>COM, and if you are an employee of this company, you better start looking for another job, cause the ship is sinking, and FAST!
Sears left me with no Christmas Gift!!
I am so pissed at Sears.com right now. I am never ordering anything from this company again. I am left without a Christmas gift for someone because this company does not have their *** together. I got an email 7 days ago saying my item was shipped yet no one knows where it is. The customer services people kept telling me it was shipped and I said no it wasn't according to the tracking info, I called UPS and they received billing info but not the actual package. When I called Sears back I actually had a customer service agent tell me "to not give up hope and she had a good feeling I would have it by the 24th". I then called back to see what someone else would tell me and they said my order hadn't even been fullfilled yet. When I finally spoke with a manager he said the package is ready to be shipped. Since I didn't trust this manager because everyone at Sears lies, I called back today and spoke with another manager who said it hasn't been fullfilled and no one can tell me when it will be. But she will remove my $6.95 shipping fee because that totally makes up for me not having a Christmas gift for someone!! So needless to say, I sit here knowing nothing about my package and am helpless. Sears has ruined my holiday spirit for today and $6.95 will not make it better!! *** Sears!!!!!!!!!!!!!
