Sears Service Hasn't Fixed My Refrigerator after 11 days

My refrig blew on Sunday 5/18, Sears sent an incompetent Tech 5/19, even with the entire house reaking of refrigerant he said there was nothing wrong. Second Tech came 5/21 and found *** in the evaperator coil in 5 min., called his boss and advised to replace refrig. his boss insisted replace compressor, evaporator, coolant coil and motor. Parts were delivered 5/22, set up third service call even though tech. admited he never seen this extensive repair work. On 5/23 Sears broke appt. resch. for 5/28. it's been 11 days without a refrig. and little hope for tomorrow. Shop anywhere but Sears, esp. for service. Lost $350 of food and cost $300 so far to feed my family at fast food and resturants. I wrote to CEO hope it helps. My e-mail is ljs911@nyc.rr.com and suggestions help. Larry

I am having the same issue right now. What is the point of PAYING for this extended warranty if they refuse to take care of issues when they happen?

My lawnmower cost me $150 and they want $150 for the repairs.

I think I'll just buy a new mower... but this time without the warranty plan!

Sears--Do not buy from them!

We bought a LG Washer & Dryer from Sears. The delivery and install was horrible. The washer leaked through my floor, wall, ceiling into my den. We had to shut the water off to stop the pour. We have spent the last 1 1/2 days trying to contact them to get it fixed. We now have to contact their insurance adjuster next week to assess the damages. When asked if they could credit my cc the delivery charge, they said they could not do it. Great customer no service! The national center did offer me a $100 gift card for my trouble. Makes we want to buy more from sears, doesn't it? Don't buy your appliances from Sears!

i too am pissed with sears..service dept. sent man to fix my refrigerator....he turned on water supply,that i didn't know was off and pulled hose down on water dispenser. took about 5 minutes and charged me $174.00. i've written to sears twice with "of course" have never heard from them.. s. nolan srn8399@netzero. p.s. have found out that service man gets commission on how much you are charged...............................there were no parts used.most of the time here, was talking about how he would have to take the wholoe refrigerator apart in order for water dispenser to work.........it took 5 minutes.

Anytime your purchase something at Sears, if it goes on sale at a lower price within 30 days they price match. They also price match.

Your sales associate should have told you what he could do for you in the future to get your price down.

I am an appliance sales associate at Sears and on behalf of the store you did business with I am truly sorry for your bad service. We aren't all like that.

I am a 70 yr. old consumer who took my Sears Die hard battery back to be recharged ,or replaced they looked up my purchase record , and varified my purchas date ,my name , and address .

I walked out and forgot about my battery for 3 wks. , and it was explain-ed that they assumed I'd abandoned my nearly new battery , and it was gone.
