My kenmore refrigerator went out for the 3rd time since we purchased it in 2015. We called on it the first week of Dec. 2019. It had no error codes but it would not cool. An apt. was set for Dec. 20th, the evening before I was sent an email and a phone call saying there were no available technicians to come. So they reset the apt. for Jan. 3rd- guess what the exact same thing happened!!!!! We finally called an independent repair person and were told it was the compressor which is still under warranty, but he could not fix it since it would have to be a Sears contractor. We now have an apt. for Jan 14th- a month and half of no refrigerator! When ever I talked to someone at Sears I have always been transferred at least 4 times and still no tech. and no results. I asked them to send out the compressor, but they said I needed a Sears repairman, which apparently they do not have. It is ashame that Sears will not stand behind their products, when consumers purchase from them in good faith.

Sears - Don't buy Kenmore!
They will not fix or admit fault! If you google scorch marks on Kenmore you will see enough complaints and threats of fires, it has to be manufacturing issue and should be recalled. They tell you it is just the new burning off. Only does it when you clean or cook at over 425. Do not buy. Thet dont care about their customers since they moved over seas.

Useless customer service

I ordered a washer and dryer a month ago with a delivery date of 12/17. A month after ordering these items we still have not received them. I have called online customer care, the delivery team and even the independent third party delivery company. No one at Sears can tell us where the items are or when we can expect to receive them. However, our credit card was charged for the full amount on 12/2/19. I cannot describe in words how frustrating it is that no one seems to know when or even if we are going to get the items. It has been a complete nightmare working with Sears.

I called back on December the 20th I was having problems getting tool replacement from the local sears store they gave me a 800 number I called and it took me about 2 hours of getting put on hold and getting hung up on 4 times finally got a gentleman that said he could resolve my problem told him what I was calling about and in about 10 minutes he told me he would be shipping out a replacement tool that would ship in 2 or 3 days that was 12 days ago I called today Ive got nothing but the run around for the past hour I have a heavy duty 1/2inch air impact wrench that was a gift it stopped working and it is less than a year old I have been using Craftman tools for over 40 years and I have never had a problem getting one replaced until now

Purchased Kenmore Elite front loader washer; went to use this week and found the front door glass broke inside washer. Called for service call with specifics - letting them know we needed new door. Technician arrived without the door - looked at the issue and said had never seen happen in her years of providing service. Wanted me to pay $800 for service and door. Only paid $699 when purchased 18 months ago. Husband found door on sears part website for much less - when called customer service; transferred to 10 different people with no resolution regarding defective equipment; will never purchase from sears again!

I recently purchased an Indoor Bike from your company. My order number is #90200****. First off, I paid extra for the bike to be installed when it arrived to my house. The delivery men stated that they did not get that on their schedule and could not do it. They left. I then called Customer Service and was on the phone for over 30 minutes telling them what was going on as I was being transferred 4 times. Finally, someone said they would come back out later today to have it installed. After the installation was done, the bike was COMPLETELY different from what your description says it is online. There was no LED screen that it said it came with, along with no dumb bells that said were included. The bike was PLASTIC, it was squeaking already and was NOT what its description said it was. I went back on your website to see what the product said online again, and there was NO WHERE on your description that said it did not come with a LED screen on the front. I Would not have bogus this product if there was no screen attached. Then, I was on the phone with customer service for over an hour since I was transferred 8 times to have to re-tell what was going on. The last person I spoke to was not helpful at all, she wanted to give me a store credit for $150 when I paid over $600 for the bike. She offered me this deal 3 times. She refused to listen to what I wanted, which was to return the bike and have them pick it up with a full refund. I asked for a manager and she refused to give me one. I asked again and she stated the Manager was not available. She finally told me they would come to pick it up. Now I am furious, I have spent my whole Saturday dealing with your companys mistake and then had to deal with your horrible customer service. I am not one to complain, but I am appalled. I will never buy from your store again and I wanted to let you know that you could really use some better customer service and accommodation for you to re-think how you market your products online as they are misleading. Well, I guess that it's alot safer that way. There is 0% chance of getting hit by a car when your bicycle is inside and stationary.

I had an issue with my dryer. The repairman cam out said I needed a new motor. Came back to put in a motor broke something and cannot fix for 3 weeks. No wonder they are going bankrupt!

I have had this warranty for six years I pay $69.00 monthly and a $100 deductible for every time they are contacted for service. Their service provider is Cross Country and newly renamed Cinch Home Services but they changed the name but it is still the same company. This last event has me seeing fire. I have a Kenmore Dish Washer that overflowed on to my kitchen floor. Cross County sent a contractor and he did fine, he has his own company Burleson Plumbing. He identified that the dishwasher was clogged he cleaned the line and said the dishwasher needed to be replaced but that he was not a Sears tech and would need one to come out. I set it up with Cross Country and the tech that came out said there was a part missing that cleans the dishwasher and I told him its probably under the dishwasher. He checked his manual and said that part could not longer be ordered. He advised me he would notify Sears but also told me that I could continue to use the dishwasher until replaced. The next time I washed dishes the machine was stuck and continued to run without moving so I tried to turn the handle to get to off and it shocked me. In contacting Cross Country they deny that the Sears tech ever filed a report??? and wanted another tech to come out (the third one) and diagnose again. It is now going on two months and are they concerned about a possible fire and danger to my family NO.

Only ignorant people buy the extended the warranties. The salesperson who is aggressively trying to sell you the plan by is not your friend.

They are trying to sell you something that isn't worth the paper it is written on. Best just to save up the money for if you ever need repairs in the future.

That warranty sounds like a really bad deal. I had a friend who went and shoplifted at a grocery store and when they confronted her as she was leaving, she tried to run, but one of the store security officers grabbed her arm and she continued to spin around him in circles until the other store security officer tackled her to the ground.

She was left with huge bruise on her arm from where she was grabbed. She was put into jail and given a public pretender who got her to agree to plead no contest to Robbery. Now, she has got a criminal record that will haunt her for the rest of her life.

I would say that she got a really bad deal in that plea agreement. Just like the really bad deal you got with that warranty.

Sears ONLINE price Craftsman Max Axess 85 pc. Socket set $65.47. "Unavailable for shipping". Gave me (3) stores where, it was available for pickup. I confirmed it was in stock at the closest store 48 miles away from me. Drove to this store to pick it up. Found the item with an IN STORE price of $149.99. When I commented about the difference in price I got a very Smug "that's just what they do"! No offer to negotiate. No I'm sorry, no let me see if I can do anything for you. Just a basic that's the price... if you don't like it, don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out. I'm not naive enough to believe the in store price and on line price will always be the same. But REALLY 229% Give me a break. I'd have been willing to go $100. Though there are differences in design, this time of year $149.99 will buy a 230 pc. socket set at Home Depot or Lowe's with the same Lifetime Warranty as Craftsman. Long story short I, wasted 3 hours of my only day off this week. Left empty handed and more than a little Pissed Off. I found the same item on Amazon with free 2 day shipping for $111.88 and purchased it. I will NEVER give Sears another cent of my money! They seem to be working very diligently to solidify their' inevitable Bankruptcy

Looking for a special skull cap for my youngster. He has brain that needs protection.

Little ones usually not a problem. My bff in college wears one. Skull cap not just protect brain. After he puts it on he doesnt remember who I am.

Wont even say hello. Special protection makes him stand out in a crowd. To wear it especially at public secular meetings so the meeting becomes contested.

He stands there and expects all to take notice of skull. Special protection rewires heart management to skull brain with reputed messages from el o him who is not autistic.

Poor repair service

l had a 2nd appointment for repair for my washer today. Been having problems with leaks so had plumbing and washer looked at multiple times, so its the tub. Return appointment was today 8-12. I called several times because I never got the normal call or text. I am told my appointment window is now till 1pm. Keep in mind I have called at least 7 times. I am delaying my day until the washer get fixed. At 1pm I get a call and told he needed to order a part and I need to call 1800 number and make a new appointment. I am very upset in the least 2 lose time I will never get back and get dismissed like it was nothing. Extended warranty does not mean sub-standard service or does it. My machine is not working. No one never came over, how does he know he needs more parts. I am out of money for the 3rd week no washer and now time wasted, and I am upset. Please have someone call me.

Snow stop my delivery for Wednesday and was rescheduled for Sunday when we should be on the Friday schedule my husband spent over 1100.00 dollars on a refrigerator and i am not happy they took all the Weds schedule put us on Sunday instead of Friday and moving Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday everybody would be a day behind but no so I am 4 days behind I will not be doing anymore more business with Sears outlet in OKC sw 29 and may I am not a happy camper Lori Jones

Why would you expect a snow storm that impacted your delivery day now impact the delivery of multiple other days. The snow storm came and now you have to wait and since you still shop at sears for major appliances you must be a strange person

It is now January 30th, 2020. My 1 year old microwave died on November 10th, 2019.

To date, the technician has been here 4 times. That is the limit to warrant an appliance replacement. But there is a catch folks. As long as he keeps ordering parts and installing them, the longer you go without a microwave!

At present we are waiting on yet 3 more boxes of parts. He has already installed 4 boxes of parts on a previous visit only to have the microwave go out the next day!I have now called 10 times and spent over 2 hours, 20 minutes on the phone with the service and protection agreement people. Its been 81 days since my microwave went out and it still does not work, nor has it been replaced! Supposedly, three more boxes of parts is to arrive tomorrow.

Once they arrive, I get to again call for am appointment, which I am sure will be another week or more! So, I'm thinking it will now be 3 months since the appliance went out to the time of yet the 3rd repair. And, there is no guarantee it will work for any period of time following the 3rd repair attempt! If not, Sears "might" finally replace the microwave.

But we are not holding our breath as I am sure that will take another month should the third repair fail!So Yes folks! Do not buy a Sears Kenmore appliance product and warranty protection program.

Sears, what a joke! Bought an over the stove microwave just over a year ago. It died November 10th. When purchased I also paid for the service protection plan (also a joke). It is now 49 days and 3 technician visits later and the microwave oven still does not work. I called for the 6th time (I have 2 hours, 6 minutes in calls) and asked the microwave be replaced. I'm told there has to be four (4) technician visits to qualify for replacement. Oh, and one of the technician visits didn't count because it was on a previous ticket! So, on January 7th, 2020 the technician will be over for the fourth time! By then I will have been without a microwave oven for 56 days!!! Moral of the story: Don't buy a Sears product and don't buy their protection plan!
