Our own mechanic was not open on Sunday Feb 7th. So brought car to Sears hoping to NOT have to miss time from work to get car fixed. We had our automobile worked on Feb 7th (replaced thermostat & water outlet housing unit). Yesterday Feb 29th auto over-heated. Took vehicle back to shop & was told defective part. They ordered 2 parts (both defective also) and found a 3rd part, installed it. Husband drove car today (March 1st) still problem.
Making a formal complaint through Corporate is a joke and ridiculous. You call, they take the information and have store manager or asst manager call you back. WHY? That's where the problem is! We have dealt for 2 days on resolving this issue. You can't even reach a Regional VP or his office to give him feedback on the operations or the situation.
I will never recommend or use Sears for any type of automobile repair. Do not use Sears Automotive for car repair.
