On july 26, 17 we bought a washer at a sears in cerritos CA.It was scheduled to be delivered on july 28.
I called the delivery dept. july 27th to cancel my order since i had found a cheaper one elsewhere. They told me that the order was canceled and that within 10 days my money would be but back to the debit card i used. 2 weeks later nothing.
So i called customer service and they told me that they would look into it and they would call me within 48 hrs. 48 hrs later no call so i called again they said they couldn't help me because it was out of the time frame to call the store directly and see what they can do. I call the store they say the same thing they can't help me to call delivery dept and find out if my order was even canceled. I call the delivery dept.
And they say the order has been canceled they dont understand what happened to my money that they will look into it and wirhin 48 hrs someone will call me. 48 hrs later i had to call back because no call. They tell me your refund has been sent to your bank since july 30th. Call your bank and ask where's your money.
So i call the bank and they said they don't even accept checks only wire transfers and if they had received a wire transfer it would of been in my account already. I call back they say again they'll have someone look into that and call me back that there's nothing else they can do. So i call back upset to the store where i bought it complaining about how ridiculous this ordeal is. He advice to call customer solutions.
I do and they look up my account and they say good news your check was delivered to your house on july 30th so you should receive it no later than this monday. I ask what address did they send it to since they never asked for my address. They sent it to an old address they had of mine. I would think that at least they would sent it to where the washer was scheduled to be delivered but nope.
So now i have to wait another 48 hrs for someone to call me back and tell me whats the plan now.
Of course no call it is now August 21, 17 and i called to complain about it but theres no manager or anyone i can talk to they just told me that as of August 18th the claim is finally in the right place and that on August 21st they had received the claim and are working on it and i should receive a call within 72 hrs.Almost a month later and no where near finding out when im getting my money.
