When it came time to deliver and install it all went down hill. Installation company they usually (are forced) to deal with was rude and tried to get more money out of us for parts our dishwasher supposedly needed, but didn't. Delivery person stated that he needed us to sign off on install or he wouldn't install dishwasher, he was concerned it would leak. (We thought we already did this in store) Husband shared that we had bought extended warranty; we had bought our stove there and never had any issues, but the install person was firm, and rude. Husband went down to store checked out dishwasher carefully (it was a bump and dent, but seals etc. on it were fine just a few scratches on front) he signed off on delivery etc. and came home. Delivery company called to set up another delivery date. This would be the 3rd delivery reschedule. First was suppose to be on Tuesday June 12. (This was set up at time of purchase in store) Corporate called on M- June 12th and shared there was an unspecified problem so I rescheduled for TH June 14. On the evening of the 12th someone left a message on my phone saying they would be out W-June 13th between 11am and 230pm? and would text when they are on their way. (Later that day is when we received phone calls concerning supposed difficulties with install.) Husband went back and forth with woman at delivery company asking why the original date of TH June 14th was suddenly unavailable and also shared that we were unhappy with the delivery/install debacle. She became very rude (he was on speaker phone) at which point husband shared he would go back to store, talk to store manager again and hopefully work something out; if not the delivery/install people would be responsible for Sears loosing business. Husband did go back to Sears and spoke to store manager who was very apologetic and went to great lengths to find another delivery/install person who would do the job better. The new install person, William Morasy with G&M Appliance was on time, friendly, clean and helpful. We have enjoyed getting all of our appliances to date at Sears, but in order for us to continue doing so we will not deal with the delivery/install company the one in Daytona Beach, Beville and Nova location, has. They charge $50 more then most other install/delivery places do (we paid $100 for the person the store manager found us) and they tried to get more money out of for nothing. I want to emphasize that the sales girl who sold us the dishwasher was wonderful and the store manager was exceptional in helping us with our dilemma and saved a sale.
