Whatever you do, don't buy a major item at Sears.We paid almost $300 for a Kenmore vacuum that broke after 8 weeks.
Sears wouldn't take it back because it had been over 30 days and when we took it to their repair shop there was no record of the purchase even though we had the receipt in our hand. They told us it would be 2 weeks but after 2 weeks I called and again they had no record of us dropping it off, then they said it would be another month. So now we still have no vacuum. We were a great customer of Sears for 30 years but once the company sold, the customer service went out the window.
Now it's all about net profits.What a shame!
