Our brand new washer broke down Tech. Ordered two parts. 8 days later 1 part gets delivered the most important part doesn't. Now we have to wait another 2weeks for the other part because they don't have it stock How can a company like Sears not have a part in stock of appliances They sell , then they tell you they'll send you a check for laundry cost but it will take up to 30 days to receive. What the heck is going on with Sears. It's just a matter of time.

Actually you shouldnt complain about the people not speaking proper english since you suck at it, you can not even write correctly. I hope sears gives you the $59 back so you can take some english lessons aswell

I purchased a Christmas tree (color switch plus) from Sears by Kmart online last Christmas. It says it has a 3 year warranty. I put the bottom piece on the stand it lit up, then the 2nd piece. It lit up. Then the last piece and it lit up. Perfect. I put it away and it is now November. Time to put up the tree again. So I put the bottom in. Nothing lights up. The rotating stand it attaches to that came with it works fine. The power goes through it so I know it's not a power issue. I've tried 3 different working outlets. No lights. No burnt, missing or loose bulbs. I only used it for 2 weeks last year. So I call Sears warranty center. After giving them all the info and a 30 min phone conversation. She tells me I didn't purchase an extra warranty so I would have to go through the manufacturer. Ok no problem. I find out the manufacturer is Kmart which is one in the same with Sears. On the box and the stand it says made in China for Kmart. So I call Kmart warranty which happens to have the same phone number. I explained that they are the manufacturer and I need a replacement. Another 30 minutes and the representative tells me she will mail me my original receipt and I can take it to a Sears repair center since that's the warranty I have. I asked if she could email it since its 2015 she said no it has to go to the billing address. I ordered it online so they also have my email. She told me once it gets there it would take 3-6 weeks to repair. Christmas will be over. I wasted $300 on a product that lasted 2 weeks and they won't fix it until after I don't need it anymore. I have to purchase a new tree. I purchased a lot from Sears for many years. From clothes to appliances but I will never shop with Sears or Kmart again due to this issue.

Sears in Los Angeles, California - Kenmore gas water heater.... Junk!

Kenmore 50gal gas water heater made 'loud' humming noises a month after installation. After spending hours researching it (not a warranty issue according to Sears) turns out it is caused by vibration on an internal shield. Sears is aware of the issue because I stumbled across a service bulletin that describes the repair for it. Then 1 1/2 years later the t/p valve fails... Sears wants to charge a service call to determine if its a warranty issue. I bought it because it claimed to have a 12 year warranty! Pressure valve shouldn't fail after 1 1/2 years! Spent 45 minutes on the phone with three totally rude Sears representatives. I will never buy another thing from Sears!

worked for sears / a & e factory service for 5 yrs. as a service tech. worked on cooking appliances and refrigerators. at sears you are just a number. forget experience, knowledge etc. they force you to do the impossible. running 8 calls per day (4 a/m & 4 p/m) always overbooked they do not understand or care that some jobs/repairs are long jobs and doing the job right the 1st time takes time to diagnose and complete.in order to keep your job as a tech, you have to skip both of your 15 minutes breaks + instead of 30 min. lunch, you have to take 15 min. or your performance #'s drop big time. They have control over all your #'s and i know for a fact that they falsify your performane.if a customer calls back for a repair within 60 days after you have fixed it,it will go against tech even if the call back is on a completly different issue and not related to the previous repair. techs do not have all the necessary tools and equipment. techs are not trained properly, but they don't care, they want you to sell washer magic, dishwasher magic, water filters, and protection agreements that are over priced and have many exclusions when it comes to repairs.as a tech you constantly have to face angry customers because they were over booked and tech can not be there within the 4 hour time frame, I agree with customers and always told them that as a tech I had nothing to do with scheduling and I am innocent. I had to quit as the work conditions are bad and techs are slaves and not techs.

I have a dual all Gas Oven and a repair person was sent out to check the issue with the oven. Sears must use 3rd party repair folks because this person was horrible and still after 3 weeks no response back after leaving several messages to find out what can be done to get my Stove working again. Today I received an email with the question whether I have received the replacement part and called Sears folks. Well as it turns out they haven't sent the part out nor do they have one.....They state the part is back ordered (on a 1 1/2 old stove) - must be lots of bad ovens out there with horrible quality manufacturing (don't by from Sears is what I take away from this if an oven can't last for more than 1 1/2 years. They told me the back ordered part won't be available until August 15th (that means another 6 weeks without a stove) unacceptable. The alternative is to give me $500 credit to buy a new Stove (that is for a $2,700 stove that is basically brand new).....This is insanity.....do not buy any Sears Appliances is what I am learning from this experience.....bad quality, bad service, poor response time....very very disappointing.

Heather Dowell Begin forwarded message: First, an extended plan on a dryer was sold to me over the phone on 12/18 when I called in to schedule service on a dryer. I stated to the phone rep multiple times that the issue with the dryer was due to an accident caused by the user. The phone rep repeatedly assured me that the plan would cover it. Sure enough, the technician came out on 12/20 and stated that the plan would not cover the repair. He gave us an estimate of $135 to repair and said it would be fixed on 1/2/15. At the point, my husband said that he'd repair himself. On 12/22, I called to cancel and request a full refund on the plan that I had purchased (because the cancellation department was closed over the weekend). I was on the phone for nearly an hour and transferred to 3 different people. Each time, I was told that the best that they could do was deduct $135 from my $195 refund for the plan. I kept trying to explain that this makes no sense. If any thing, I should have only been charged for the $59 service visit since that's what I had been quoted for someone to come out and look at the dryer before purchasing the plan. We had refused the estimate for the repair so I should not be charged $135. No one could explain why I was being charged $135 for the repair and no one would help provide me with the refund that I deserve. I plan to report to dispute and report this as a fraudulent charge with my credit card company.
