Failure to deliver part

After waiting over two months, I cancelled the order for the control panel and was ready to buy a Bosch and sue Sears. However, I contacted customer service once more and was told there was actually a date when the part would be in (12/21) so after a few days of thought I reordered the part and was told the part would be available the beginning of January.

So I reordered about a week ago and have since received two notices that the part is delayed and back ordered. I will continue to follow up and hopefully get the part by the beginning of January. I have sent two emails trying to get information and have had no response. If I am not assured of getting the part in the next thirty days, I will cancel and get a new dishwasher.

I would tell anyone who asked that under no circumstances should they buy a Sears/Kenmore product. I ordered the part initially on 9/28 and have been hand washing dishes for 2 1/2 months. Not sure how they can continue as a functional company.

I was told if I had bought an extended warranty, they would have provided the part or a replacement dishwasher immediately. That is all well and good but it seems as though if you don’t buy an extended warranty, you should still be able to get a part in a reasonable time.

Have a relatively new Kitchenaid dishwasher and need a replacement control panel. I have now been waiting for roughly six weeks and still no replacement panel. Simply inexcusable.

I have and sears protection agreement plan. Now when my appliances not working I call the number that is located on my sears protection agreement plan.ok I call make appointment for my washer. I get a reschedule , and when I have appointment they are a no show no call this has been more than twice this happen to me. I was told manger supervisor and management will look into this matter nothing.like August 06,2020 had and appointment no call no show. So now once again I have another appointment. Yes I called myself sunrise sunset who sears gave my contract too a third party which is them. They do not pick up wait a lady did pick up the phone gave me and appointment. Then email me to reschedule Wow!!!!

Dear Pissed Consumer Team, I love your sense of humor! I called the repair service and explained we had finally received the replacement refrigerator but the delivery guy forgot the line to connect the refrigerator to the wall water source. He said they broke the old one. I should receive it Friday in the mail, and a repairman will come and hook it up. Two weeks ago we had two dams break in this area impacting 1500 families. Because the refrigerator was still useable, I asked if we could donate it to assist families until their insurance came through. The store manager said he had to ask the delivery guy..an independent contractor, if he could. I asked why this contractor had to give permission. He was evasive with his answer. When the delivery guy got there, they were surprised it was in good condition. I asked why they had to destroy it..he said they were taking it to a resale shop! At that time I was reviewing the sales slip and paperwork he gave me. When we initially went in to find a replacement, the manager said I was allowed $2599.00. The one I found was $2200.00. But, he rang up the entire $2599.00. Do you see why Sears has a cash flow problem?? He pocketed the difference. If he cheats his employer, how many consumers has he done this to? For the three weeks we waited, as he changed the delivery date several times. He told me the store was swamped.. I said I did not see a change in three weeks.. the dust on some had not been disturbed.. he said the store had many consumers waiting to talk to him.... I said look around...its just you and me. Then he screamed at me and said he was sending someone out.. and I would be charged for the service call. I said dont bother, Ill call corporate myself. I have been a sears customer since 1962.. he is the worst manager/employee EVER! My husband is in a critical stage of leukemia. Just want the refrigerator hooked up so he can have ice cubes... and Mark sent to work for Walmart. (I never go there)

Trying to retrieve a receipt.

Just trying to recover a receipt from an appliance purchase back from the year 2015. I didn't know if it was even possible but I should have at least gotten a response from them either way out of courtesy for me as a regular customer.

Since our package was delivered to some one else , Sears has promised to send us a new shipment of my ordered items.I am waiting to see if Sears keeps its promise.

Close to 45 days ago I had placed an order for some items from Sears and paid for it I did not receive my merchandise.I received a notification that my package was delivered to a wrong address. I contacted Sears by email because it was next to impossible to get through to them by phone, and lodged a complaint. After repeated emails I finally got an answer, a representative of Customer Service called me back.and the result- I am now waiting for the reshipment of my merchandise.

More cash registers needed!

I went to Sears at the Antelope Valley Mall today. I expected a long line but it took almost an hour waiting. One of the 4 registers were closed. People were complaining and management seamed uninterested and did nothing. The whole store had really long lines. I have bad feet and legs and I was in a lot of pain. For me, I need to get in and get out. This was bad planning for the Christmas rush and the great economy. During the holidays more registers and employees need to be utilized.

First off, service is not spelled “servace”. That doesn’t send good feelings to people who are really frustrated. Your audio on your customer service telephone system is muffled and noisy. It is so very hard to communicate with them. Second some of your representative cannot articulate the English language very well making it even more frustrating, My problem is that every time I place an online order, I have to correct my telephone number for a text to be sent to me. And then I never get a text. I have changed my tel number over a month ago on my account at sears and shop your way. They are correct. Can you please fix your audio issue and my text telephone number? Also after filtering the department items, I find items that store not available. An issue with either your inventory being in sync with your online products or someone is not doing their job.

Refrigerator freezer on the blink

The compressor was constantly on and the freezer stopped working. It took nearly three weeks for someone to com out. The compressor was not working and so a new one had to be ordered. The replacement compressor was delivered to our house about 5 days after the visit. But the soonest Sears can come back to install the compressor is another 2 weeks delay. So, a total of 5 weeks from identifying the problem to getting it fixed (we hope!). We live in rural western MA and the service here is ABYSMAL! Maybe better in urban areas, but this is REALLY unacceptable service from a company we had grown to trust. Replacements will likely not be Kenmore in the future. Not a good business model to assure repeat customers!!!

Your in for a real treat they will reschedule that date when it comes. Finally they will get there install the part and it still will not work.

Throw it out and buy a new whirlpool from Lowe’s. You will save yourself a big headache

I just bought a washer and dryer set and my reward points were given to me in installed use. 5 dollars a week. I got 100. Points but I get them 5 dollars a week. What a junk.. I guess I will lose them who's driving to art which is closing down. And Sears is 20 miles away . I spent more on has and tool to spend 5 dollars what a rip-off. Also 3 to 5 yrs ago we had a recall on some grills defective which oaks vs Sears took over the case. We were awarded a refund and I spent 600.00 for it. And still waiting on my money. Purchased stove and microwave 4/29/2019 with promise of delivery May 13, 2019. Well, as of June 4, 2019 still no delivery. Started making phone calls - seems they do not have the microwave and as of TODAY I was told I can cancel my order - really - after waiting over 30 days? This was all they were able to help with in the customer resolution department. Management at the store was not able to do anything either? Just suggested I cancel? This is how they resolve their lack of knowledge. And customer service speaks bad English? This is where all of our jobs and money is going OVER SEAS? OH WAIT, I WAS OFFERED A $50 CREDIT ONLY AFTER DELIVERY? Seems microwave is no longer available so - NEVER going to get delivery, I have to cancel my order and re process it so stove can be delivered? And they did not know this prior to my call TODAY? or did they never have it to begin with? Manager at the Shepherd store will sell me the floor model for about the same amount of a new one? I do not understand WHY Sears is even still open? Best part, no one knows anything and an "I'm sorry and I understand" solves EVERYTHING?????????????????????? Very upset - purchase paid in full already??????? I guess if I would have used the HIGH INTEREST Sears card they would have already delivered. or not? Bad service all the way around. Bad business.

Mattress recycle charge

I'm a big Sears supporter and I bought a new mattress today and usually I pay for delivery and taking my old product but I was told that they don't take the old mattress. My question is I was charged for the delivery fee and $10.50 for a recycle fee but they don't take the old mattress, then why was I charged for recycling but they don't take the old one for recycling, I feel like I was ripped off

You were ripped off. They were only supposed to charge you the fee if they were taking away your old mattress. You should demand a refund.

Warranty woes

My Dryer quit working on Monday, Tuesday I called Sears and found out it is still under warranty. So they made an appointment to come fix it on Wednesday between 8am and 5pm. The service technician showed up at 11am. Found that he did not have his diagnostic tool so inferred that he would be back before 5 and if not him Sears would send someone else out. I had to call Sears and set up another appointment for today between 8am and 5pm. You would think that since Sears did not follow through yesterday that I would be number one on their list. But that would be given the Service department credit for having Brains. I am still sitting here today waiting for Sears to show up. 3pm at the time of this writing.
