I purchased a dishwasher from Sears. The dishwasher leaked from the first day, it took three weeks to get a service call, they didn't have the parts it will be another month before they can return.

This is the worst service I have ever heard of. I asked to return the dishwasher and they tell me it is against their policy and the refuse to take it back. Never again will I purchase anything from Sears.

I had been a Sears customer for over 50 years , always dealt with my local store and had been very satisfied. Evidently there is a new regime and customer service is no longer a priority.

Product or Service Mentioned: Dishwasher.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Sears Cons: Awful.

The Sears, Roebuck & Co. we grew up with is no more.

Best to shop elsewhere. I have had very good luck buying appliances at Lowe's.

Haven't bought anything in three years from them, but they always had free delivery with old ones taken away for free, plus set up of new, etc. Forget about the new Sears.
