The food warranty that is included in the purchase warranty, is a joke. Once you have an issue that has caused a food loss, you must submit the claim online or call in.
The claim is processed quickly, however, once processed you will receive this message: Your food loss claim has been approved for the amount of $262.40. A check has been mailed to the address on file and you should expect to receive it within 21 business days. That is what I view when I check the status.
It was the faulty equipment that was purchased, that caused me to file a food loss claim in the first place, but I as the consumer must now wait 21 days until I can replace my food for my family...... after paying over $4,000 cash for a refrigerator.
