An appointment was made to have a residents dryer vent cleaned. The appointment was made and confirmed on a Friday.
The resident took a day off and on the scheduled date of the appointment when no one from Sears showed up the response we received was it was not put on the schedule. The appointment then was rescheduled and we received a call that the technician was on their way at 2:00 p.m. After many calls back and forth the technical finally arrived 4 hours later at 6:00 p.m. The resident approved the work to be done at that time and that is when the second debacle occurred.
The technician had no idea what he was doing. When the machine was turned all the lint and dust from the shaft enter the unit causing a mess.
The resident was so fed up he through the technician out. This was a total disaster.
This person wrote the review because of poor customer service at Sears. Reviewer claimed that he or she lost $199 and wants Sears to issue a full refund.
