Sears - English anyone?
9 phone calls all routed to India. Each time the problem can't be resolved.
Speaking to a human and resolving a simple problem is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!! SEARS AUTOMATED PHONE PROMPTS make it impossible to speak to anyone for quick resolution. My ice maker wasn't working. I called Sears repair.
The repairmen came. They decided I needed a part and then asked me to pre-pay the service. $418.74 Within a few hours the ice machine was working. I tried to cancel the order and ask for a refund.
I'm not sure I'll ever be allowed to speak to a U.S. citizen that works for Sears and can understand what I'm asking for. Frankly, there are so many local repair agencies that can immediately resolve any issue dealing with Sears India is unnecessary. It's so frustrating having my call directed to India where people read scripted responses.
It's plan and simple B.S. My first credit card was at Sears in 1971. I just shredded the card and will never bother them again.
There truly was a time when Sears customer Service was number one. I totally understand why the company is in a downward spiral.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $320.
