Since Sears has closed most of its stores, they only means of contact is now the offshore call center in the Philippines.

While I'm sure the individuals working there are well meaning, the entire system is set up to make them essentially useless. They can't actually do anything for you, regardless of the issue, except schedule a technician to come out.

Anything else is beyond their scope. If you attempt to speak with a manager, they tell you you are already speaking to a manager, which is farcical.

As a result, there is 0 confidence in Sears. I'm never going to spend another red cent with them. And, the number of people in the same boat is large and growing.

The once vaunted name in retail is now just a joke. Their final demise cannot come soon enough.

Product or Service Mentioned: Sears Customer Care.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Never do business again, Sears repair service.
