I had your company come fix my washer REF# 40381648 . I had one problem after another with the service people and customer service had to get supervisor involved. After your tech "fixed" my washer it worked for maybe a month then of course my warranty was out so when it started acting up again I couldn't afford to get it fixed. Well I was just able to have someone and your tech NEVER connected the drum so it spun and stripped the threads. After this EXPERIENCE I will NEVER buy or have Sears involved with any appliance I need. Wtf ***

Sears in Miami, Florida - Unresponsive and ineffective customer service

When I was growing up in Chicago, my parents and I shopped almost exclusively at Sears which offered friendly and effective service. Unfortunately my recent experiences with Sears repair and customer service have been horrible and ineffective. Do NOT use Sears repair in contrast to IKEA and other stores which stands behind its service and products. Sears repair charged me over $500 to repair my AC in Miami. The AC failed to work a few months later; however Sears claimed that their 90 day warranty (they had never advised us of this limit) had expired. I contacted Customer Solutions, the Sears Exec Office etc. MANY times. I was shuttled to at least 8 people, two of whom hung up. With only one exception Sears refused to return phone calls or to even talk on the phone. Six different people wrote without responding to specific questions and using fake names and no titles or responsibilities. Sears did not even respond to my offer to submit this dispute to mediation. They did offer a minimal discount should I decide to spend even more money for additional repairs. I will never do business with Sears again !! (I had the AC repaired by a local and responsive company for about 20% of the Sears price!!) Avoid Sears. Sincerely Alan

Sears - Repair Review from Delray Beach, Florida

I purchased a 30 gallon water heater from Sears 3 years ago which is leaking at the connection pipes inside the heater! Called Sears they sent out a repair tech who told me what I already knew the heater had to be replaced! Sears did replace the heater but then charged me a 80 dollar service fee! My wife and I are both disabled So see thought she could save me some trouble so asked how much it would be to install it! SIX HUNDRED AND CHANGE! This heater took me 20 minutes to install 3 years ago! This is so wrong their faulty product and charge me a service call which took all of 1 minute for him to tell me it had to be replaced! Which I knew! Again big corporation taking advantage of the comsumer! I should have never been charged the service fee of 80.00 for a one minute service! Big business screwing the little guy! I'm in my fifties when I grew up Sears was THE STORE to go to! No more just another money hungry corporation that does my care!

Our riding lawn mower broke down. We have extended warranty on it. When we called about it, we were told they would send the part and when it arrived call to schedule an appointment. Two weeks passed and the part arrived. They set us up,for an appointment for today between 8 and 5. They called yesterday to remind us to make sure someone was home. They called again this morning reminding us. We waited all day for someone to come by. At 4:30 the phone rings, I thought it was the repair person telling us he was on the way. Instead it was a recoding saying call their number as there was a scheduling error and they were not coming. I called the number and after waiting 5 minutes on hold, I explained my problem and that I was upset about waiting all day. If there was a problem why had they called me twice to make sure someone would be here. They told me they had to transfer me to a different person. Again I was put on hold. After explains for the second time what I needed Joseph told me the earliest appointment would be October 22, another 3 weeks wait. I told him it was not acceptable. According to him that was all he could do. I am upset to say the least. 6 weeks is too long of a time to wait for a repair. I bet if we called for a service call and did not have the extended warrantee they could get it done sooner. I will never shop at Sears again.

I spent 62 years in miami, fl. Believing sears was a fine American company that serves with respect and efficiency, too bad its not true any more. I just spent thirty minutes trying to speak to a service and repair representative at store number 1365,cutler bay, miami, fl., by phone, what ah joke. The joke is now on sears, i will not do any more business with this company. I have nothing but contempt, between the charges for diagnosis of the pressure cleaner purchased there, to the place out of town used, to misinformed representative who called two weeks later stating that this was the second time I'd brought it in, to the charges they wanted for repair, to the inability to speak to a person at the place i dropped it off at and the amount of time it took to get it back( which i still don't when). I'm done with this company and will try to dissuade anyone i ever speak to from going to sears.

Sears Sucks & Do Not Back up their Warranties Buy Somehwere else

We bought a new frig. It was not delivered on time. Finally got it and it would not work and we lost $400 worth of food. Everything spoiled. Called SEARS back and were told it would be a week before replacement would be here. Second one came damaged. Plugged it in and resupplied freezer and frig. All the food went bad again. SEARS sent a repairman. He took out 2 screws ran the fan under faucet to deice it. Took 10-15 min and charged $297 for a repair. We were basically told, "If you want your freezer contents to be frozen, turn the freezer on High. But then your refrigerator will not keep food fresh. " Was told it was made in Mexico so what did we expect. None of my food was replaced. We have lost full contents 3 times losing over $1100, worth of food. Do Not Buy from Sears.

On 02/13/2015 We scheduled a repair appointment. We were advised the tech would arrive between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. We contacted them in the afternoon and was advised he would be at the residence around 4:30 pm at 4:50 pm we contacted Sears and were advised he would be there in five minutes.I again called at 5:50 pm and was told they emailed the tech and he would call back at 6:00 pm. I then contacted the supervisor Ceaser at 6:10 pm and was advised he could not get in touch with the tech but would reschedule for the next Saturday between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm...He also advised he would file a complaint in my behalf to be investigated...I was also advised there were no phone numbers for the corporate office..... I dont believe after waiting a whole day for NO ONE to arrive WE should have to waste a whole saturday a week later for the tech to possibly come to the residence.....

I had a serv man out to repair wsher.Could not do 1 load did not work.I phoned Sears was told repairman would call back within the hr that was tues. Sept 30 have still not heard frm him.I called many #s most with foreign people all I got was liess broken promises .I am 64 grew up with Sears over the yrs bought pool sat. and had credit line with you always thought Sears help this ctry grow now I wouldnt trust anything u folks tell me Does nobody at Sears care about cust anymore? I think word of mouth can be a blessing or hurtful for my part I have nothing to good to say about the store I grew up with.I trully believe you would rather outsource your workforce go save $ and to avoid really helping your cust.If any does care I would appreciate hearing frm english spking. person I did spk. with 2 emp that did spk english and got nowhere even told It didnt matter to them I had been lied to and treated rudely I do have their names & I d #s.Please call my hse #s you have all this info on file since I called so many times.If u dont contact me Ill figure u are a company of lies. times times.
