I purchased a GE fridge from the Toms River NJ store. I wanted the fridge because it featured a freezer on the bottom.

Well what a lousy setup that turned out to be as the freezer was NOT frost free although it was supposed to be. The service technician named Ken Moore ( ironic right? Kenmore) was at our home multiple times unsuccessfully trying to repair this piece of junk lemon. Sears refused to make good on this fridge despite an exhaustive amount of time scheduling and hosting multiple repairs, time lost to no shows, food lost dealing with overseas operators- the whole shooting match.

I have purchased multiple appliances since and am happy to say none of them were purchased from Sears and none of them are GE. I will NEVER do business with Sears again.

I am happy they are closing stores. They do not deserve to be in business.
