Why has Sears lowered themselves to where they no longer stand behind their products. They are good enough to put their name on other companies fridges (Armana) yet when it breaks, they blame the manufacturer.

I paid $3500 for a stainless "top of the line" Kenmore Elite Fridge. Yet after 18 months, I had to pay $350 for a new "high frequency voltage board" as the water dispenser stoped working, now the ice maker has broke and they want another $300. I had the nerve to complain, and was told it was my fault for not buying the extended warranty. Sad that $3500 means nothing anymore with them.

They used to stand behind their products.

They lost another customer for life.

Monetary Loss: $3500.
