Sears Sucks

Washer needed repair. Couldnt fix ordered parts. 3rd part came damaged 3 times.Changed my time without calling me. I desperately need this done. Trying to schedule 2 big surgeries and this has to be done now. I have someone coming to housesit. Appointment for today was scheduled from 8 to 12. I called yesterday when part came damaged again. Dont send service, part returned. Well, these idiots send service anyway and only 1 guy.l This is a 2 person repair.Sears has horrifying customer service and delivery.High level of dont care about customers. cant come til 8-31.

Update: Sears came through and did the right thing! Once my case was escalated (not real easy to do) a CS specialist took over and my mower was fixed a week earlier than fist scheduled. They even sent me money to compensate me for the two weeks my mower was broken....

Well, very shortly after posting here, Sears contacted me and to make a long story short, they offered to buy us a new fridge and refund our money for the service plan and repair. I was very pleased with the way the resolution was handled in the end, as we now have a different fridge model and we love it!

SEARS IS A JOKE

This Sear needs to disappear. Ive been contacting his company for months about my broken washer and dryer. Everytime you call a supervisor is not available and never call you back. This was my letter to them and i have yet to hear anything Dear Sears My name is Shanika Case# 6012378 . I am appalled by the lack of customer service at Sears from the local store to the representatives over the phone and managers from the executive office. I spoke to a case manager by the name of Ikhlvs Mirza who for starters barely speaks English. He is the rudest person I've spoken to in the last month from Sears. This case manager not only falsified his remarks in regards to my dealings with the 3 technicians that came out to my house and left me with broken appliances still and tried to persuade me to pay for services that weren't rendered. He also bluntly told me that my service wasn't important and that he has better things to do. I spoke to a Supervisor by the name Alicia who promised she would call me back and now she is unavailable at all times. Now they are giving me more of a run around. Voice mails..."she's not available right now"..." Just the worst EVER! I bought a full high end (SUPPOSEDLY) laundry appliances less than a year ago and is still under the manufacture warranty as well as the extended service plan. The appliances were over $2,000 was all Kenmore. It has taken Sears so far over 4 weeks and I still do not have a repaired washer and dryer. I've spent hours on the phone with them trying to get a simple repair. I was promised numerous times that someone would call me back within a certain amount of time and not once did they ever do so. They are the most incompetent people ever. First they sent a repair guy out and he couldn't even figure out how to turn the washer and dryer on to see if it worked. After I showed him how to do that, he said 'yes, washer and dryer doesn't work". He said he had to order parts and that I would have to pay for them and the travel expense. I declined not to order the parts due to the fact washer/dryer is covered under warranty, the technician became angry and demanding I had ask the gentlemen to leave. After many more hours, (I'm serious about that, hours!!) of phone calls and unfulfilled promises later to the national headquarters and I'm still without working appliances. I feel that I've made a legitimate complaint to Sears about the conduct of a Sears employees via phone and that was dispatched to my home to perform maintenance on my washer and dryer and they still display lack of responsiveness and lack of accountability.

I know how it feels to get the run-around from Sears. Took 3 calls to Warranty Service to get parts ordered for my zero turn mower.

I paid $600.00 for a service contract.

A lot of money to pay for the RUN AROUND. Boycott Sears!!!!!

called for repair to my washing machine. estimate came in at 979 dollars. after i refused repair, machine has begun leaving grease marks and spots all over my clothing. subsequent emails between sears and myself have netted an offer of a $25 gift card. here's my final reply to them gosh, you guys really don't get it do you? but since i didn't really believe this issue could be resolved, i'm not really surprised to be offered a $25 gift card. someone in your organization needs to realize that unhappy customers tell other people and that the only way to change someone's opinion is to change the way you do business. if you have access to the repair estimate produced by your repairman, take a look at the estimated parts cost. if you think about it, replacing two parts on my machine costs more than an entire washing machine. obviously, when you produce the machines, there is no way those parts cost that much because you wouldn't be able to produce the machine at a cost that would be reasonable for someone to purchase. it leads me to believe that the Sears attitude is a combination of planned obsolescence and disrespect for their customers. Instead of producing a machine that can last for 15-20 years, like the one my mother owns, we'll slap together something that might make it 6 or 7, and, upon finding that the price of repairing the machine is outrageous, our customers will have no choice but to spend another 7 or 8 hundred dollars purchasing a new one. And that is probably what will happen with me. It will NOT be from Sears. I know that customer service has no real power to change the company attitude and of course, I realize that this isn't your fault, so I hope that you don't take my rant personally. Thanks for allowing me to vent.
