Trying to buy something online at their customer service pointed me at applying for Sears card. However, after I applied and received instant credit, I could not buy my online item since I was not given a CC#, Exp date, etc.

I called back customer service and they told me I either had to wait 2+ weeks for my physical card or go to Sears with my Driver's license. Since I get discount only if online, this defeats the entire purpose. I asked Customer Service why they 'mislead' people and he said "that is a good question".

UNBELIEVABLE! They just lost my business.
