You need to be more specific as to what the blower does. In other words, what are the symptoms?

Once you describe the symptoms, perhaps people would have an idea what the problem(s) could be. Obviously, something is wrong, but unless we know how it is acting, we cannot help you.

Sears is awful!!!!!!! I ordered a refrig and that got delivered one day ago isn't working. They won't come out to repair it and they won't replace the food I have lost. They are rude and unhelpful. You have no information why Sears will not come out. Perhaps they told you that you need to contact the manufacturer?

The company that made the fridge is responsible for warranty work during the period it is in warranty. Try contacting them.

Sears just sold it to you. Now, why you or anyone would buy anything from Sears is the real question to ponder.

Sears in Bayville, New Jersey - Lemon of a Refrigerator

I bought a refrigerator at Sears in January 2012. In December the compressor went. They replaced it. (A repair that would have cost $830) Now, 6 months later, the compressor has blown AGAIN. I called Sears, they said that they will not cover this and I have to pay for it. I told them they had just replaced the compressor 6 months ago, and asked about the warranty on THAT. I was told the warranty on the new compressor was only 90 days. I asked to speak to a manager, and was put on hold until I finally hung up (1 hours and 36 minutes later) I don't feel it is right to make me pay for an obvious problem with an appliance that is not my doing. I paid over $1200 for this refrigerator. And actually, it was on my Sears card, so by the time I was done paying, it was more like $1700!

Sears service crooks

I called Sears dishwasher repair because my dishes wouldn't come out clean. The technician guy said he could fix it for eighty dollars, which I paid. The supposed fix did not work at all. I called two days later (note that the service is guaranteed for ninety days). The same guy came back and said that in order to fix it he would charge an additional 140 dollars, which I refused to pay. It is simple, right? I complained to Sears but they just pretend not to understand. I only want my eighty dollars and change back. They won't budge.

Was it an actual Sears technician, an A&E Factory Service tech or another contractor? Might be on the reciept. Contact them directly and then Sears again, see what happens.

I give them one last chance to rectify the situation by speaking to a supervisor. Then go to the local better business bureau and file a complaint. Also findout if there is any warranty at all from the actual manufacturer.

Sears is nothing compared to what it was decades ago.

Sears in Mays Landing, New Jersey - Worste auto repair experience ever. Will not return.

The worst place ever. I took my car in for an alignment. They told me it would take an hour. I was waiting patiently for over 2 hours. I asked the gentleman, how much longer should it take. And his reply was, "it will be complete in 20 minutes." After waiting almost another hour. I looked in the garage and did not see my car. I asked if it was finished and they couldn't find the car. 5 minutes later they told me that they are going to start the alignment process now. I was waiting over 3 hours and they told me it would have already been done an hour ago. I will never return there again. They didn't offer to accommodate me in any way. There are too many other shops in the area where I can go to where I wouldn't have to deal with this. Also, I called in the morning to confirm the best time, and they said to bring in the vehicle at 1. Which I did, and still to no prevail.

Sears Kenmore Washer

We bought a brand new washer in October of 2011. Lo and behold, it broke beyond repair in November 2012, days after the expiration of the warranty. I searched the internet for information about the machine and found that it has a faulty electronic board which is unfixable. I called Sears Customer Service on 11/12/12 to get information about replacing the machine. The Rep I spoke with, Michael, was beyond unhelpful. Insolent and rude. He reported that even though it is a Kenmore machine, Sears cannot be expected to take responsibility for selling A FAULTY MACHINE!. I asked him to repeat this just to be sure I heard him correctly. I had, as he repeated this mind-numbing fact. Today, 11/13/12, I called the Corporate Office and spoke with Maureen. Initially, she was very compassionate--until we came down to my major appliance failing! She said that Sears cannot afford to have their faulty appliances fixed for nothing. I said that I can't afford to make a major purchase and have it fail a matter of days after the warranty expires. We reached an impasse. The only offer I received was a discount on repair. Seriously? I am not only deeply distressed by my personal situation of being heartlessly ripped off by Sears, but by all the complaints I see across the Internet made by other Sears consumers. Bottom line: I trusted Kenmore a a brand and was made a fool of. Not even Sears trusts Kenmore. Be warned--STAY AWAY FROM SEARS!!!

Sears in Newark, New Jersey - $140 for 15minutes stop

last Thanksgiving 2 days prior, the oven was locked (I unlocked myself with a wire hanger). We called Sears to send a repairman. On the phone conversation (somewhere in India), the guy was pushing for a $250 repair that will cover any repair up to $500 (of course one time offer trap). I selected to pay a $140 repair. The repairman came. He looked at the oven, opened and closed the oven door repeatedly for 5 mn. His assessment was that the motor is burnt and the price to replace it is $600 (waiting period a week to receive the part then reschedule a repair appointment) and maybe also the electronic display is also defective. At that point you know they have no clue. He was surprised that I mentioned that a big burnt motor I would have noticed the burnt smell. Of course I refused the repair. We called a local oven repair, they knew the exact problem by reading the error on the display. We paid $70 for initial visit and this price is subtracted to the total repair. Oven now is fixed thank to local oven repair for $145 total cost. Do Not Go To Sears repair unless you have warranty (free repair)
