The compressor went on my kenmore fridge it states in my warranty that it will be replaced free of charge within 10 years on the phone with them for hours 2 service calls no part try to charge me 500 in labor absolutely terrible service never buy from sears ever no wonder they are closing

The sears H2 front loader is the worst machine ever! We have a contract, but you have to wait two weeks for a repair man. Then, they cannot fix it! So, another two weeks at the laundromat! Four weeks at the laundromat is far too long for someone that has a washing machine and a contract! And, they have to send parts to your house, so the mail comes into play! No one will forward me to management. I called 10 people to complain and Mike's, from customer service, response was, "Well what do you want us to do? Move you up on the list? Everyone is waiting for service!" Do not get a sears product, and never, ever get their service contract! I am going out to buy a new machine right now! It will not be a SEARS product!

Sears in New York, New York - No show for Bosch washer repair-3 no shows in a row!
So just a note to say I will never ever use SEARS ever again! I had a full protection agreement on my washer and for 3 weeks, 3 straight appointments in a row NO ONE SHOWED UP to fix it!! I called the 3rd party who the job was outsourced to and they didn't even bother to call back. The service is horrible!!! and SEARS is repair is a joke!!!!! I want a full refund on my money for the protection agreement and Sears says call back tomorrow, our files need to update over night!!!

Purchased a Craftsmen Cordless Electric Push Lawn Mower several years ago from the local Sears store. As usual, after time the rechargeable batteries wear out and need replacing. I took it to the drop off repair at the Sear where I bought the unit. They told me that since it is electric that I had to have it repaired by Craftsmen not Sears. I was told at Sears that Craftsmen was not owned by Sears. But when I called the phone number they gave me I was talking to Sears. Spent several hours on the phone being tossed around by different "Customer Service Reps" and "Case Managers", and finally a service tech. It turns out the design of this unit does not allow for the batteries to be changed by the consumer as they are housed internally. So the lawn mower has to be serviced by a technician. HOWEVER, you can't just drop it off at Sears to be serviced. NO, NO, NO. I have to pay a lot of money (because it is not under warranty) to have this very heavy lawnmower shipped and returned by UPS - JUST TO HAVE THE BATTERIES REPLACED! You can drop off a gas lawnmower at Sears to be serviced but not an electric. We were not told any thing about this at time of purchase. There is no other repair facilities that I can get this taken care of - they won't touch it - they say to take it back to Sears. Total Sears Fail - Entirely Unacceptable.

I agree 100%, I purchased a Kenmore refirgerator, leaks when making ice, or so it seems. They don't stand behind their products. I don't shop at sears anylonger for anything.

I understand your pain! I bought the Master Protection Plan on all my appliances for the last nine years and when something big happened like the ice maker didn't shut off and I came home to a kitchen full of water it took 2 weeks before they came to just see what the problem was then another 2 weeks for repair.
I had extensive damage $3700 to flooring as the laminate had been discontinued so 2 rooms had to be repaired . They have done nothing ! Got yelled at for turning in my food loss and I got mad and hung up on her. This happened in March and flooring just got replaced yesterday .
I had to turn it into my insurance so with my deductible taken out I owned the rest as Sears has never gotten back with my insurance. Since this has happened I replaced my Sears Washer and dryer with a Speed Queen and in the process of replacing Fridge with an Amana from my home town appliance store.
Sears keeps calling wanting me to purchase another Protection plan as mine expired this month I refuse to answer the phone as I will go off on them. Sears will offer some good prices but buyer beware they offer horrible customer service and don't stand behind their Master Protection plans as I could of bought several new appliances with what I spent on their plans Buyer Beware don't let them suck you in !
