I just purchased a "garage ready" refrigerator that has been in my garage for 6 days now and in site of being set for maximal coolness both the refrigerator and freezer compartments are at 59 degrees F. My calls were sent to the Philippines.

The connection was bad and I had to ask the rep to repeat herself 2 or 3 times per sentence. First she told me that I should not put a refrigerator in the garage. When I told her it was designed for a garage she put me on hold and came back to tell me that I should not have set it at the recommended start temperature but set it at maximal. BUT the manual does not say that.

The conversation then switched to the fact that I had only turned it to maximal coolness about 24 hours earlier.

She said that it needed 48 hours to cool and told me to call back if the temperature was still 59. I am going into the store today to speak to a manager of some kind if I can find one.

Product or Service Mentioned: Sears Customer Care.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Preferred solution: Appliance repair person needs to inspect the refrigerator.
