Purchased a NordicTrack C 1270 Pro Treadmill at Sears store in Memphis, TN on 16 July, 2017 for dilivery on 29 July. On 29 July the driver called stating that it looked as though the Treadmill had been dropped and that it looked like it was damaged.
He also stated that the box had been torn open and poorly taped back together. I refused to take delivery and when Customer Service called I explained all of this to them. They apologized for the inconvenience and rescheduled the delivery for 8 August, 2017. On 8 August the delivery men arrived with a Treadmill in a box as described by the driver 2 weeks earlier.
When the box was opend there was mud inside and the Treadmill was clearly damaged. After the driver photgraphed the damage they closed the box and took it away. This was clearly a total lack of proper communications between departments and complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Improper supervision and lackadaisical attitude by employees in the warehouse allowed an obviously damaged product to be placed on the truck not once but twice for delivery.
The order has been canceld and I will find another source. And they still pay those people, unbeilevable.
