i ordered a battery for a kenmore portable vacum that i had purchased two years ago. customer service online chat services of sears told me i had to order an adapter and a replacement battery comes with it.
that was the only way to do it. well, i was sent an adapter only. customer service dept apologized and said they would ship out a battery asap at no extra charge. again i received only an adapter.
third contact with customer service informs me that the battery for this item is no longer available! i shipped both adapters back to sears over a month ago and have not ryet received a refund of the $40.
i had paid. yikes!
