We called Sears to repair our side-by-side refrigerator. Tech came within a couple of days, but had to order part - then made us wait almost two weeks to install the part. Tech said new customers got quick appointments - we had to wait.

Within two months, the repair failed. When I called, they tried to give me an appointment 16 days away. Not acceptable of course. Shuttled my phone call to a closed department. Spent a LONG TIME calling back to talk to supervisor. Gave them choice of a quicker appointment or a refund. She gave me run around, saying they'll call me back.

So beware: Sears means the opposite of service. Call someone else.
