My wife and I bought wedding rings from Sears without the extended contract. The rings had black enamel inlaid between leaves.

After 1 year, the black enamel began peeling off of my wifes ring. Sears sent the ring to M & G where they nicely repaired the enamel for $100. Within 3 months the enamel began peeling again. Again returned to Sears for repairs.

They were not sure if M & G would cover repairs on this. WHAT? I asked them to sent it to them and request repairs due to faulty work. No go, they would not accept responsibility for the problem but would repair it for $50.

I told them to stuff if and return it to me.

What kind of repair company cannot fix something so simple the first time? Do not buy from Sears or Macys if the contract is with M & G Jewelers.
