Do not buy anything from sears I have been without a freezer for a month they have came out 3 times to repair it and state it’s not replaceable but yet has put in a order to replace it I am now filing a small claims case against them

Sears' call centers are all overseas. Difficult to get a service appt, and when one does it's an 8 to 5 window. So one misses a day of income. Service techs will quote two and a half hrs of labor and spend 30 to 40 minutes out in the van, not actually working on appliance.

My 90 year old uncle requested a $99 air duct cleaning. The technician called in and got his credit limit increased to $2800. He charged him $2800. On top of that, he did not even do any work. He pulled this scam off in 20 minutes and was gone. He did not even give him a receipt. Now Sears is saying they can come do the work since he has been charged. We need to protect the public especially our seniors.

Bait and switch and unethical service technician. He took advantage of a senior citizen. He charged $2800 for an air duct cleaning. He went to steps of increasing the customer's credit limit and not even providing a receipt. He never even did the work.

I have been looking at a pool table and the price kept going up and down. I talk to a rep on sunday and he told me that the pool table would go on sale on cyber monday for 199.99 and I should wait to buy it then. I did and the price went up, I asked if they could match the price and they stated they would no, if I wanted to go someplace else to buy the product I could. He said it was my fault for waiting to buy it when clearly one of their reps advice me to wait.

My old credit card is no good i guess my account is closed. But online recognition of my phone wont let me login for discounts if i have a use my latest email. If i call to get new card it does not have me on record. I need to talk to a living person.

Sears review: Avoid at all costs

Bought a washer /dryer stack in 2015 from Sears. It broke in 2016. I purchased the extended warranty which is up in 2020. Machine has been broken since 9/2019. Repair person has not been back since 10/19. The parts are sitting out in my garage. Today is 12/3. The repairman called to cancel to say he had the flu. I received an e-mail from Sears saying the reschedule date is 12/21. Unacceptable. I do not want this repairman back on my property. Sears now has to get an approval from a manager to get another repairman to fix my machine. I spent 1/2 hour being bounced around from dept. to dept. Sears is out of business for a reason.

Details
bought sweets on 11/30. Wrong size was on the hanger. Went back on 12/2 and got right size off rack. Brought to checkout. did not have receipt but tags were still on sweets. even exchange no money. Nope since i payed cash would not exchange . Miss marked with wrong size their mistake and i had to keep something that didnt fit. Never will i shop their again . no wonder they are closing.
