To make a long story short, Sears 'Loss Prevention' is a complete and total joke with clearly only morons working.

I was chased down the street (twice), accused of stealing my own sunglasses that I purchased at H&M the year prior, treated like a common thief, talked down to by some middle-aged lady with a stick up her ***, humiliated on the street, laughed at by other 'Loss Prevention' employees and had more than 20 minutes of my time wasted among a myriad of other complaints.

Once they FINALLY relaized that I had in fact, not stolen my sunglasses as I had been shouting the entire time thanks to MY discovery that the small print showed that they were from H&M I was then given a business card of the 'Loss Prevention' Manager and sent on my way. I went back to Sears the next day to speak with the manager of this team and basically he tried to brush me off. Told me that the situation was out of his hands and being investigated. He asked for my contact information and I gave him my name and number. I was supposed to have been contacted within two days and it has now been 4. I sent him an email with no response. Needless to say, I'm pissed.

I would never trust the Cambridgeside Galleria Sears. The 'Loss Prevention' staff are too busy chasing down innocent customers who have done nothing wrong and harassing them to notice when someone is ACTUALLY stealing. They are so bored and unaware of what is going on that they decide who is guilty, whether they are or not. Had I not noticed that the small print on my sunglasses stated "H&M" they would have continued to treat me and go through the steps as if I were a shoplifter.

I recommend that everyone shop elsewhere, or at least not at the Sears in the Cambridgeside Galleria, although I have lost all trust in them as a company completely.

I can't speak for sears, but Walmart's policy is 1 bad stop and you're retrained and reevaluated, if not fired on the spot depending on severity and how they handled it. Run this one up the corporate ladder, you were absolutely mistreated

You are well in your rights to sue the company. They are hoping you will go away. If they did not report this to their DM, it is company policy to fire all of these employees that were involved.
