Did you all know that there is no online complaint department at Sears? My Kenmore cooktop is still under warranty.
I asked them to repair the igniter that would not turn off. They told my husband it was just moisture under the knobs. When I tried to cook dinner tonight - I was shocked - literally. I called the service number and after waiting for 45 minutes on hold listening to comercials about how they could repair anything and talking to 2 different people.
I was told that I would have to call back in the morning because they couldn't reschedule my appointment because the tech had not closed the old one.
When I asked to get a complaint phone number - the man said he would transfer me - then hung up. Couldn't tell Sears what I thought - so I'm telling you.
