I ordered a gas range/stove from Sears.com. I was told that delivery would be on the 27th, which was already a week after I ordered it.

I told them that I needed an afternoon delivery. When I got the call to give me my delivery window, the delivery time was between 10:15 and 12:15. This would not fit my work schedule, since I needed an afternoon delivery. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes on the phone, I was able to speak with someone about getting a later delivery time and was told that the next available delivery was on the 10 of September.

This would be 4 weeks after I ordered the range and also during my vacation.

He would "be happy" to set up delivery for the 17th, but would still not be guaranteed an afternoon delivery. This was unacceptable, so I took my business somewhere else.
