Sears - Worst service ever

When I made a claim I was told they don’t cover my area. But when I signed the contract they said they covered my area. And try to cancel. No one picks up the phone. Twice i have been transferred and then placed on holf for 30 minutes and then disconnected.

I bought another Sears Kenmore Refrigerator in 2016. Under my one year warrantie, the plastic enclosure came apart.

They came and fixed it under warrantie. Then i noticed water under my refrigerator. I dismissed it and just cleaned it up. Today, where the vegetable bins are, was water building up in the depressed bins and over flowing on my floor!

I called customer service and since I didn't have a warrentie, they said they couldn'tl unless I pay!

I had my other Sears Kenmore for 35 years until it started leaking water. SO, I thought I would buy another Sears Kenmore refrigerator. Never again!

I wish I bought an LG. I doubt my new refrigerator will lat a total of 5 years. I am so disappointed in Sears, telling me I should of bought warrentie.

I never had one on my 35 year old fridge.

My advice is to NEVER buy a Sears product.

I have had sears home warranty for 8 months..Made my first claim in august..Its been a ongoing saga,ITS MID OCTOBER and sears has not been able to resolve the issue...I am getting really fed up with this.The GE washer is only 3 years old.The scheduling is a joke.....

Same here. My refrigerator died, they came out one week after I called it in, and diagnosed a thermostat, now 6 weeks later, I have the part delivered, but they keep making and canceling my appointment to install the part!

I hate this.

No refrigerator for 6 weeks in summer is crazy. Sears Home Warranty service is a fraud.

To whom it may concern, this is has been a nightmare every since we purchase this plan. I have been a customer of your for over 25yr and always like the way your company handle your business. We 1st purchase just the appliance warranty 90883974 until 2/23/16. my husband notice for $20 more why not just get the whole house warranty 91141716 would take over on 02/24/16, then a refund of 39.99 we would get. We never got that either..I called in claim and that was denied. I previous put in a claim for a dishwasher that was having draining problems, then cancelled the call because the dishwasher started working again. Then about a couple weeks later the dishwasher started acting up again. We filed a claim #92251b,the service company came out, we paid the $60 and the service tech told us it need a drain motor. We got a call later that day the claim was denied, because we previously has someone come out with same problem. No! I scheduled a service and cancelled, because the dishwasher started working again. The gentleman that called was rude and not very nice and told us the claim wouldn't be paid and where not going to get our $60 back. We where very upset and was told no more service could be used on that dishwasher, that so unprofessional we paid for the service. We went and purchased a whole new dishwasher for over $700 and I was very pissed off. 03/07/16 my air conditioner started acting up. I placed a service call I got a ref number#91443079 and was told to call air zone and schedule appt. They came out today was told it was the handler. We where also told by the techican that sears is not going to pay this claim and said All they do collect your $60 and deny your claim. He took a picture wrote up the what was wrong with handler and not even 30min later got a call denied!. I was also told this unit was not working. Why would your claim adjuster tell me that. I'm in hot frinking Florida. I run my air everyday. My wife went to set the thermostat to get colder in the house and heard a loud noise. She called me and I told her to cut off. I didn't know what was the problem. Your adjuster told me by the pictures he could tell we have not been using the system and something with the coils.. i have always loved your company, but this is so unprofessional and just not right. I was so mad today, that I screamed at 3 different people, I told them to cancel by home warranty plan. I will never do business with your company again. I have always used your company for repairs. This makes no since. Are your employees trained to deny every claim. I would like to be contacted by someone in your company.

What a joke. Sears use to be the place to buy all your appliances. I went to Sears only because I have had their products in the past. Well the "manager" in store was at a loss about Natural Gas and having to change it to Propane. Also insisted I find out if I had a 3 prong or 4 prong plug on the old dryer. I said I am sure it is a 3 prong. Well turns out this is something for an electric only dryer. It gets worse after delivery. We ordered on Aug. 25, delivered it on Sat. Sept. 5th, 2015. I have to say the delivery men were great and very helpful. Asked if we had the LP conversion kit? No turns out the store "manager" had not ordered one. They also told us a Tech from Sears had to install it. Advised me to call the store. The store "manager" asked me to refresh her memory as to when I was in the store. She really didn't seem to know what I was calling about. The driver took the phone and tried to tell her what she had done wrong and she hung up on him. So being a very nice guy he gave us a number to call. Said he might loose his job over that. Anyway after calling Sears Tech got transferred to some other country then this person transfers to another number saying these persons will have the answer for you. The person we were transferred to was the store where we bought the set. Very Rude both the manager and her side kick. Until we started saying we were putting in a claim. Because it being a Holiday weekend they would not get back to us until Tues. I ended up calling again. Now it seems that they must have gotten a call from someone higher up as the "manager" said she would order the part and have it shipped over night express. Then I could find a "tech" to install it. It seems Sears do not have them. According to this person. I said NO I won't. So now she is going to call me back. When I got the call back she had found a retired man who would do it for 50 dollars and she was paying for it plus the kit. But she also said she wasn't going to be able to over night the kit. I should get it Tuesday and then I was to call the Tech to come out and install it. I am taking care of two 83 year old parents. I haven't had a washer and dryer now for over 17 days. Oh I have them but not able to use the dryer and won't touch the washer as they may end up going back. And to think it will be another 4 days before I get the kit IF I get it on Tuesday. And after reading all these complaints I am so sorry I went to Sears and now all my family and friends are going to be aware of how GREAT it is NOT to get something from you. So so Sorry I went to Sears.

Finally got this resolved but the washer sounds louder than the 26 year old one I was replacing. Bet these don't hold up as long. Never will buy appliance from Sears.

I had a GREAT experience with Sears in Oshkosh. The manager and staff were happy to answer all my questions and concerns and I ended up buying my washer dryer and dishwasher there.

I'm going back to buy a fridge next.

I've had people like you come into the business I work for.... how can you expect someone to remember you out of all their other customers?! And it sounds to me that you expected the manager to read your mind and know about what kind of set up you have at home.

Let's not forget that people are people and I'm sure YOU don't know everything yourself.

I will be returning to Sears. They gave me great service, great prices, and great products.
