Placed an order the other day at sears.com for 21 items. hours later- still did not receive a confirm. email. I emailed them- heard back with my confirmation and then that all my items were out of stock- so canceled. this is a considerable sized order- so i find that hard to believe - but am sure thier web site/cart sucks. So I wrote to them with my disgusts and let them know/questioned whether my DEBIT VISA WAS CHARGED- as I read other complaints where it was. Never heard back from them- wrote about 10 emails- finally nearly 24 hours they let me know that yep it WAS CHARGED- and that a refund could take awhile- depending on how long my bank takes to credit it. HELLO- my card should NEVER have been charged.

We live in the DETROIT area and have been hard hit by the economy- so now we dont even have the $$ to go elsewhere- and a few of these things were b-day gifts
