I purchased a mattress from on 2/20/16 from Sears in Chandler. I was approved for a Sears credit card the same day. I was given a 20% off coupon for sheets which expires today. Went back to the store today to order sheets but the coupon is a scam, I could only use the coupon on Sears items only no third party vendors. We got online at the store and the only Sears items I could buy were pillow cases! How's that for Sears customer service. I realize 20% is not much to gripe about but it's a total scam and ppl should be aware of it. I have about 5 other coupons that have the same issue.

Sears.com is ABSOLUTELY the WORST online experience/company experience that I have ever encountered. I do all of my shopping with the exception of food online. I don't feel as I ned to go into a tremendous amount of detail. The bottom line is that I was sent a defective product that I purchased with a coupon (the only reason I purchased from Sears). When I attempted to exchange I was told that I couldn't. I was told I had to return the product and they would credit my account and then charge it again. Well after 4 calls to customer service and the Sears online chat I was left with 1 pair of defective boots, no return label, no refund and another FULL price charge to my card. I have given Sears every opportunity to fix this and they are incapable. SEARS HAS ESSENTIALLY STOLEN FROM ME! I HATE SEARS AND WILL NEVER SEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN. DEATH TO SEARS AND EVERYTHING THEY REPRESENT!

Horrible service/ # will never order from Sears or shop at Sears again

Ordered a washing machine from Sears. Was annoyed to begin with that I needed a new Kenmore washing machine after less than 5 years; however, ordered the Kenmore washer since it was a match for dryer that was still operational. Scheduled delivery. Was called at the time of scheduled delivery and was told the truck go into an accident and would not be able to deliver. I was understanding, as accidents do happen. Was assured that I would receive my delivery between 7-9am today. No show. Was called by the computer to and told that delivery was scheduled for 2:15-4:15pm. Was annoyed, since I had been assured by representative the day before delivery between 7am-9am; however, was still understanding. Received call, that delivery was going to be late but still today. When no on showed up by 4:55 called costumer service and was informed that truck was near and they would get back to me. Asked to speak to a manager. Manager informed me that she contacted trucking company and that delivery was not going to occur. She was surprised I had not been informed. Sandra ID #635430 told me contacted trucking company to get me added on to Sunday delivery and she would contact me when heard back from trucking company. Never heard back from Sandra. When I called back a couple of hours later and asked to be connected back to Sandra representative would not. Told me no chance of delivery. Tried to offer me 10% discount coupon. Cancelled my order and will never buy anything as Sears again. Poor products (Kenmore washing machine done after less than 5 years) and horrible customer service. Wasted 2 days of my life that I will never get back waiting for Sears to deliver...No wonder Sears is in trouble........

At the end of December we went to our local Sears store to purchase a dishwasher. I had done my homework and knew exactly what I wanted. First of all, the Boxing Day sales were in effect. There was 1 sales person on duty on a Saturday, trying to service several customers. We waited patiently while she attended to a couple who were considering a series of appliances. The other customers ahead of us left out of frustration. We took the sales person right to the appliance we wanted. She wrote it up and after advising us of the delivery fee we opted to pick it up ourselves. She advised we could pick it up the following Wednesday. No other information was given. At the time of the sale we also opted to purchase the 5 year extended warranty. The sales person advised us that if we didn't use the warranty, once it expired we would contact Sears and they would send us a coupon for the amount of the warranty ($247) to be used to purchase anything in the store. Once we returned home and read the brochure we found out we have to spend 2X the amount of the coupon ($500) in order to take advantage of the refund. THIS WAS NOT TOLD TO US AT THE TIME OF THE SALE! My husband went to Sears the following Wednesday to pick up the dishwasher at 11:30 a.m. "Sorry Sir, the time available for pickup on a Wednesday is after 4:30 p.m. I'll bet the sales clerk did not tell you." Indeed she did not so we had to make another trip back to the store the following day. I will be contacting the store manager with my complaints once I can locate who to speak to.

I waited all day for my mattress to arrive until i finally called and was told that there was a delay in the shipping process and that the earliest i could get my mattress is next week. After spending hundreds of dollars with a company and paying shipping, i expected someone to call or email me letting me know before 15 minutes after i was suppose to have my mattress delivered. I also expected more than an apology and 10% coupon for wasting my time and having to sleep in the floor for a week. Because I really want to use a coupon so that i can pay less for a product to arrive a week late and waste my time again. Now i have to take yet another day off work to be home for the delivery of my mattress with no confidence that will even show up. I will never shop at Sears again and wouldn't dream of suggesting someone waste their time by shopping with Sears either.

It is a scam I received an email that I had 70.00 in shop your way surprise points towards appliances went to redeem them was informed at check out that I only had nine dollars in points redeemable yeah I had 70.00 reward points alright but I had to spend 499.00 to redeem them are you kidding me what kind of a rip off is this . They can keep their reward points and put them where the sun don't shine it's all a scam to get you to put money in there pockets.

Sears Lies about Delivery Dates and Delivers Broken Products

In November I purchased a 3,000 refrigerator online. Sears failed to deliver on the day they agreed to and didn't notify me of the change. They rescheduled for 1 week later. Upon delivery I noticed the unit had a huge dent in the back. It looked like a fork lift hit it. I refused to take the unit and had to wait another week. 3 weeks without a refrigerator meant eating out and wasting out-of-pocket money. Now this month I try again with Sears because I'm locked in if I want my appliances to match. So I purchased an $800 convection over the range microwave and a $3000 gas range. The contractor wanted the microwave delivered first and then the range. We timed it so I wouldn't be without a cooking appliance for more than 1 day. Again Sears failed to deliver the microwave when the agreed and delayed it 4 days. This meant I needed to request a delay on the range and the contractor wanted additional money because of the delay in finishing the job. The microwave was installed on Monday and it is broken. The convection fan is off the spindle and the unit makes a terrible noise. Sears won't replace the unit and I'm waiting one week for their repair person to show up to look at it. Now the range was to be delivered Tuesday. They never called and so I called to find the delivery window. They told me they had to delay the delivery until Saturday. Now based on my contractor's schedule and the gas company to hook up the stove, I will be without a range until 12/30. That's now almost one month without a range. On top of that they want me to be home on a Saturday when our children have recitals and plays that we would have to miss and they said our delivery time is based on what is better for Sears and not the consumer. The thing that is most upsetting is that it is impossible to speak with someone who cares about my situation. The Indian call center is only capable of reading from a script and offering me a 10% coupon to buy more things that won't work or be delivered on time. I have called every number I can find only to be bounced around to people who say they are sorry for my frustration, but do nothing to help. I have been on hold for hours at a time only to be hung up on. The managers won't do anything and they refuse to transfer me to someone in North America. Sears is an US company, I am an US consumer and there should be some way to speak with someone in the US to help with my issue. I even saw that Kurt from Sear's "Social Media Watchdog" group posted an email on this site. I emailed them and of course no one replied to my email. Clearly this runaround is designed to wear out the consumer and make them give up. I'm not going to give up. I have a network of contractors over New England that I will get to steer customers away from Sears. I have two friends that are doing a remodel that were going to buy Sears and now will not. I'm interested in the consistent complaints that are similar to mine and think there might be grounds for a class action lawsuit, and if my wife will let me I'm going to take the appliances out of the house drop them at the front door of sears with a sign explaining the customers should go to another retailer to purchase goods. This is cost me out-of-pocket expenses over $2,500 from time off, meals, contractor overage not to mention the mental frustration and there is no one that cares at Sears.

Sears in Bay City, Michigan - Extended Warranty not honored on recalled dehumidifier

Received recall notice from LG, Sears, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. LG sent $100 towards the original purchase price of $229. Sears sent a $25 coupon. When requested to replace the unit per the warranty, they claimed that a recall due to the unit in question starting on fire, wasn't a defect, therefore, not subject to the warranty. If a recall of this magnitude isn't a defect, what is? Spoke to extended warranty representative for ten to fifteen minutes trying to convince her that a requirement for the recall was to remove the end of the plug and send it to LG, while the government said to unplug the unit immediately.

Whomever you spoke w doesn't know what they're talking about. If you still have it, send it in for "repair" .

They have to physically have the item at the repair center to authorize replacement thru the warranty. The warranty dept is useless outside of collecting money for renewing warranties

Sears in Detroit, Michigan - Pathetic customer service and 3 months to get pictures!

I called to complain that it has been 3 months since we had our pictures taken and we still haven't received our wall art only to be met with "It's not our fault" at the studio and patronizingly insincere apologies after waiting 33 MINUTES on hold! When she checked my order, she commented that because I had used a coupon to get the wall art for free, there was no way she could help me, insinuatingly as if I had no right to complain about a "free" item. Well, the free item was part of a $190 package, that I couldn't have justified PURCHASING without the addition. The explanation for it being so late was "it was back ordered." So, it was late because it was late. Helpful. The entire experience was sub par, including the strange soft glow effect that gave my sons pink lip gloss, another concern that was dismissed, but I don't want to dilute the customer service aspect of my complaint with all the other ridiculousness. Needless to say, DO NOT GIVE SEARS PORTRAIT STUDIOS A MINUTE OF YOUR TIME OR A DIME OF YOUR MONEY!
