DO NOT purchase appliances from Sears Canada. They do NOT honor their warranties.

Purchased all new kitchen appliances PLUS the extended warranties. Within 6 weeks the ice maker of the Samsung Refrigerator froze up. We thawed it out and it soon happened again. We called Sears and a Service Rep was sent out.

He communicated to us that there were issues with these ice makers and would order us a new one. We did not hear from them again. After several attempts to follow up both thru Sears and the Service Company, we were informed the warranty would not be honored as the issue was "our fault". After visiting the store personally, many phone calls, emails and letters to the head office of Sears that were not responded to, we finally gave up!

I have NEVER received such poor service from a Company that boasts "Satisfaction Guaranteed". There is NO customer service at Sears.
