Just got off the phone with Sears Home Delivery. Total of an hour and a half of my wasted time, spoke with 9, yes, NINE customer service representatives: Alex (male), Ishbell, Kimberly, Colleen, Alex (female), Danny, Jessie, and Deborah (the most helpful as she was the last).

NEVER got in touch with a supervisor although I asked six agents to connect me. Got disconnected TWICE. All I am trying to do is understand why a patio set I purchased on June 6th, to be delivered on June 18th, has not been delivered yet!!! Then Deborah tells me it is out of stock.

NEVER was told that by Sears. TERRIBLE. Will NEVER order from them again. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Not worth the aggravation.

I was on phone 45 minutes with Sears delivery because a refrigerator I received was damage They were going to issue refund for the second time , be cause they did not get it right the first time .

Also , hard to understand when they talk .

Obviously not from the U S ..

They could not issue a reference # or e-mail of conversation so you dont have any proof of call.

Hard to believe Sears SUB-CONTRACTS and consumers have to deal with them .

It all revolves around the dollar

I purchased a dryer online Sunday, having Sears deliver a new dryer for me on Tuesday. They were prompt on the delivery - I could track the status of the delivery right on the website.

The delivery guys were awesome.

They installed the dryer and agreed to take away the old one, even though I had not purchased that option.

I'm very pleased with their service - start to finish.

Sears didn't honor my manufacturer warranty, I bought a glass cooktop and the glass top melted. They said I should,'t cook on high heat.

If you can't cook on a cooktop what do you do with it?

Hope Depot uses the same delivery service so I wouldn't advise that.

The same standard of quality and customer service that you've grown accustomed to from Kmart can now be found at your friendly neighborhood Sears because Kmart owns Sears now. I worked there before and after the purchase of Sears by Kmart and quit shortly after for obvious reasons.

I ordered an apartment size refrigerator on Dec 14 with a delivery date Jan 20 (I picked a date later than first available to make it on a Friday). I just found out tonight (on my own, looking up my order to just check on it) that it has been rescheduled a MONTH later than that.

I ordered Dec 14 to deliver Jan 20. Now it's rescheduled Feb 18.

What the living heck?! The site says it's in stock. And as of tonight, the first delivery date is Feb 18. Does this mean someone buying tonight can have the same delivery date as me, and I ordered a month before them?

WHAT the heck?!

Had a delivery window of Noon-2pm. 3:30pm rolls by and call to find out they won't be bringing my new washer till the next day. Took off time from work for this delivery!

Moved to the area and left our old w/d set with the house we sold. We are military and once our travel pay came through we went out to buy an new set. Looked at Lowes, Home Depot, a few local companies and finally Sears. Sears was the ONLY place who could get us the set in 2 days..everywhere else was 2 weeks or more. Being a family of 5 with a newborn and no w/d for the last 3 weeks - we need a set NOW.

Bought the set, paid extra to get them weekend delivered. They were supposed to be delivered today (Sunday). We live on an Air Force base so we made sure their company had permission/drivers that could access the instillation. Everything on our end was set. Phone call Saturday night said they would deliver between 1&3pm Sunday.

Sunday (today) we get an 8am phone call saying they had just tried to get on base and were denied access due to base regulations forbidding Sunday deliveries. That was Lie #1. After an entire morning and early afternoon of phone calls and getting the run around we discovered the truth.

The set made it from the Phoenix warehouse to Tucson & in Tucson some "brilliant" individual decided they knew better than anyone else and that the set could not be delivered because the base would not allow it. WRONG. After many conversations with Sears locally we have decided to cancel our order because it was not going to deliver until "sometime on Tuesday". Not acceptable as my husband would be working and I have an infant with a doctor's appointment & older children who have insane school schedules so I spend most of my day dropping them off and picking them up. I digress. ..

Never have I seen such incompetence....Sears outsources their deliveries to a subcontractor - perhaps if they did them in house they would care more about what happens to their customers AFTER the sale, because the delivery company sure as *** doesn't.

Sears...we're done. :( And after reading some other comments, my order BETTER be cancelled. It hasn't posted to our bank yet so Monday morning it better not magically show up as a debit without an immediately following credit!

NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE SEARS! Pieces came unassempled and missing.

I could not even put together the furniture. When you call to complain, no one cares.

I spent a ton of money for absolutely nothing. NEVER AGAIN SEARS :(

Similar experience. I have had five separate conversations with Sears, and not one thing they told me has been true.

The sales clerk told me I could pick a time -- not true.

The phone support told me I was re-scheduled for two days later -- not true, delivery people came anyway when I wasn't home and left the delivery.

Phone support told me I would get a call about the haul-away time -- not true, didn't get a call.

Phone support told me I would get a haul away between 12 and 2 -- not true, no one came, delivery company said Sears canceled the haul away because Sears mis-coded it as a delivery.

Phone support told me I couldn't get a haul away the same day -- not true, the delivery company called me directly and said they could come by. Of course, by then I was back at work.

Still have two beds in my (small!) bedroom. The adventure continues. Asked twice to talk to a manager, they said no.

The same exact thing happened to me. Scheduled a delivery, was told they would call the day before.

They didn't call. Called them the day of the delivery only to be told they had rescheduled my delivery! The patio furniture was not in stock!!! I cancelled my order and am STILL waiting for a refund....which I was told would be 7-10 days....only to find out they didn't even cancel the order so the refund was not processed.

Can't speak with a supervisor as they are all in meetings. Unbelievable. I will never by another item from Sears.

They used to be dependable. Not any more!
