We purchased a hot water tank from sears as well. We have replaced the same part 3 times already.
The first time was within 6 months of purchase, but it keeps failing. They wont replace the whole unit. And don't even get us started about the service. Multiple calls.
They keep claiming we didn't call, then we rebook, and no one shows. Call back. Oh...nothing in the system again? wow, what a shocker.
Then, when the guy shows, "sorry I am just here to diagnose, I don't have any parts". But we told you it was the thermostat, how many times do we have to keep saying this!!!!!!
If you buy a hot water tank from Sears, you better make sure they send you 2 or 3 extra parts for the entire machine...heck, have them send 2 or 3 entire units...you will need it.
Reviewer is in unhappy mood. This person stated that there is a room for improvement of poor customer service and service. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss "customer service and quality" of hot water tank and associated monetary loss in the amount of $2000. Sears needs to issue a full refund according to poster's claims.
