Three year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator that stopped cooling and freezing. Determined by Sears repair that it was the refrigeration system and still under the five year warranty.
This after I was told it was not their problem because I did not buy a service contract and there was no way i would receive a replacement refrigerator as this was not a Sears warranty, but a manufacturer's warranty and not Sears problem. The manufacturer told me no way would they help and that Sears is the responsible party. Lots of run around, and I now have my 8th appointment scheduled to "fix" my non functioning three year old refrigerator. By the way, it has been 75 days since the refrigerator has worked, all significant parts have been replaced once, but the refrigerator is still not cooling.
The Sears repair service representative did not like my attitude...
NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN. My first purchase from Sears is also my last purchase.
