Sears/Kenmore do not honor warranties, and if you try and contact their service department well, good luck!they will run you in circles until you just give up, well I'm not one to throw in the towel and I've saved a few pennies so I'm filing a lawsuit against the Grand Junction Colorado Sears store and naming the managers in the suit.
Maybe I'll win and maybe I'll lose but Sears will have to explain why they don't honor their warranties to a local judge in Grand Junction Colorado, it will cost them to defend themselves and it will cost them to defend their managers (and there is no chance they will prevail). If you purchase merchandise from Sears on your Sears credit card and have an issue with whatever you purchased, file a dispute with Sears credit and have the item removed from your credit card.
All of this over a $300 Elite microwave that failed to last 90 days, when this is over Sears will have spent enough money to cover the replacement microwave 100 times over.:)
