Sears Nightmare: Kenmore Elite refrigerator stopped working on Sept. 21, 2017.

- Oct. 5, first Sears Tech arrives – diagnosis problem as the circuit board. We pay one half the cost up front ($ 345.65) and Tech orders a new board. Board arrives by UPS.

- Oct. 20, second Sears Tech arrives to install the new circuit board and determines problem is not the circuit board but is the compressor that is still under warranty. He takes the circuit board – says he will return it and Sears will refund our payment. He orders a new compressor.

- Nov. 3, third Sears Tech arrives and installs the compressor and refrigerator is fixed. - Six weeks from problem to a fix. - Sears refused to refund our upfront payment for the circuit board that was returned.

Have called them six times and get nothing but a run around.

It is now mid January 2018 and still have no refund from Sears. I am still trying and considering Small Claims Court, contacting our states attorney general’s office and Consumers Fraud Dept

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Sears customer solutions department, Searscom caused the problem but was unwilling to fix it.
