Sears in Yorktown Heights, New York - Customer Service - HORRIBLE

I bought a washer and dryer from Sears. First washing machine came banged up, called to have it swapped out. That took 3 phones. I also paid for a pick up and haul away service. 2 months later I'm still waiting for them to pick up. I call every week and every week they claim to be sending someone to pick up. Now, customer service can't help me and directed me to call the store where I made the purchase. I want to kick myself for TRUSTING SEARS AGAIN! I have yet to have a good experience when making big purchases with them. First time was a patio set. Long, long LONG story short, we ended up with 2 patio sets, banged up and when SEARS finally agreed to come set it up, they had to use different parts from the two sets to complete one. BTW - the chairs didn't even hold together. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.

Sears took my money and never delivered

On August 15th 2017 I ordered and paid for an item for in-store pickup. Weeks went by and Sears never called or emailed me. I called to inquire about the status of the order, they said they would call me back. They never did. I called again after waiting a couple of weeks, the best they could do was refund my money and have me re-order. Their customer service people, instead of just doing the right thing and re-ordering what I already paid for, wasted my time by putting me on hold, not understanding what I said - example: "I just want you to give me what I paid for." their response: "So I hear that you want a refund." Totally unacceptable.

Sears - The worse experience

Ordered washing machine 8-31 for instore pickup (was told it would be tuesday 9-4) it didnt come, on thursday 9-7 my app showed it was delivered so i call the 1800# and they say yes it was delivered. Luckly I called the actual store to find out it was not there it was set to be delivered on friday @230. The employee said he would call ASAp. Friday @4 I hadnt heard anything so I called back this timw I was told it the truck "broke down" but the washing machine would be deliveres by 1pm today (9-9) I called AGAIN @ 4pm to be told the truck is MIA and they couldnt give me any time. So I call customer service and spoke with the rudest, nastiest rep named Patrick. I could not believe his tone and attitude. He was so dissrepectful and I will be calling corporate. He told me it will be there in 24-48 hours (only business days) I asked 28-48 hours from when? No answer So next I called yet AGAIN and this rep says yeah its showing delievered I dont know why its not there. She tried calling the store (town mall, westminster md) but no one answers. This is the WORST purchase I've ever had and I should have just went to another store and I would have my washing machine already. I need answers, I cant cancel my order and its not coming so what do I do?

Ordered a water softener that was installed 11/9/2016. Paid $25.00 to haul away my old unit. On installation day the installer states that his truck was full and that he will pick up the old unit the next day. The next day came and went, the old unit is still here. 4 phone calls and one week later the unit is still sitting in my driveway waiting to be picked up. Worst customer service ever!!!! For this reason I cancelled a refrigerator that I ordered from sears. Keep this up sears and you will lose more customers. No one in your company seems to listen! Realize that there are other stores out there.
