This isn't about a particular store but about the way sears appears to be doing business these days.We bought a sears wash machine(#4112) about 17 months ago because sears has always backed up their products.

Not this time. We called for a repair only to be told that sears doesn't do repairs in our area. What ??? We complained and were told that our complaint would be investigated and we would be notified as to their findings.

Well, no communication. We weren't asking for something for nothing. We were going to pay. We just wanted sears to send a repair guy.

We never had any problem of this nature before and just assumed sears would back their product as they always have. If you can't trust sears who can you trust. Don't assume anything.

Now we ask either send a repair guy or come get the damned washer.Leo from Tavernier, Fla
