I purchased a mattress that came with a 10-year warranty. Within two years it began to sag on both sides of the bed. The sag could visibly be seen even after the bed was made. Called Sears, followed their directions to measure the depth of the mattress using a broom and ruler. It was 2.5 inches even after we had been out of the bed for awhile. Send photos to Sears mattress warranty department and then was given more requirements before it could be replaced. I had to remove the mattress and take a picture of the mattress from every angle they could think of and one of the box spring top and bottom both in good condition. After following all the direction for replacement, I was told they wouldn't replace it because it had a stain on it. What? Why would that matter? Did they plan to resell it? Sear told me it was in the warranty that it had to be defective and clean. What a bunch of bull, Sears policy is to never replace any mattress. Since they don't publish an email contact address, I am assuming they are aware of the problem and could care less. Check out the thousands of complaints online. Be smart, DON'T BUY ANYTHING AT SEARS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HONOR WARRANTIES EVEN ON APPLIANCES. (photo with the ruler looks like it is being pushed down but shows how even the weight of the ruler makes the mattress sag)

Back in 2003 bought a battery from sears... Still under warranty to get a replacement for free.. The sales person told my dad & i had to pay for a new one... When we SHOULDNT have to!! We argued with the guy & told him we will call the HQS to report your ***!! Then the guy gave us A replacement... What a bunch of idiots they hire to work for SEARS! Let me tell you everyone, I STOPPED buying their batteries of the year i posted above!! I urge you not to buy car battries from them! Go somewhere else, your 100% better off... I dont buy clothes or sneakers either from them..Their selection sucks big time! They hardly have anything good to buy! Waiting for them to go out of business! In the auto dept. I just spent half of the day with Sears. After coming home Saturday night and finding a puddle of water around my Refrigerator which I bought 5 months ago. Sears technician came yesterday to try and fix the refrigerator and he basically told me that they are going to have to replace the compressor, the motherboard, some valve And oh by the way he will have to inject some type of dye to figure out if the freon is leaking. Instead of replacing the lemon of a refrigerator they sold to me 5 months ago. The supervisor told me that they have to follow protocol and try and fix it. Grrrrrrrhhhh Think outside to the box Mrs. Supervisor!!!! Would you want a refrigerator if you new all this stuff have to be replaced. The technician said he doesn't know if it's fixable!!! And on top of that technician won't be back to fix my frig until March 8th. And if they can't fix it. I have to wait another 24 to 72 hrs. Process replacement!!!!

On 7/24/15 I purchased 3 pair Teflon coated craftsman work jeans for my hubby! The purchase of $94.16 was made online using my debit car. I inadvertently ordered the wrong size so I returned them following their return procedure! Due to a security breach my bank canceled that debit card and replaced it with a new! The card replacement happened before I received credit for the returned items! I made several calls to Sears inquiring about my refund. I'm told every time that it went to the canceled debit card to call my bank! My bank says there's no way credit can be applied to a canceled card to call Sears! I will never shop at Sears again!! Sears in Shelton, Connecticut - Failing wall console (41A6317)

This wall console is for Craftsman Garage Door Opener (13953918D) I Had same problems. Worked for what I payed for for a while and then began to deteriorate. Worked intermittently and then stopped working completely. Replacement is cost outrages. Might as well replace the entire opener but of course NOT with one of SEARS but with one of SEARS many competitors. I have learned over the years to do less & less bussiness with this Compnay. Thank you SEARS. I think this is the one that has finaly broken the camels back. NO more SEARS.

I purchased a set of Sealy pillow top mattresses from Sears on Nov. 4, 2015 and within 2 weeks of use the top mattress showed signs of being poorly made and defective. After calling every phone number I could find where I could actually speak a human being I finally got a person on the phone who was willing to listen and try to help (talked to several who did not care). They suggested a replacement top mattress and I reluctantly agreed. The replacement was delivered on Dec. 5, 2015. The "new" replacement mattress is in worse condition that the one which was sent back to Sears. I immediately contacted the mattress department and spoke to Tina and explained what was happening and she said there would be no problem in having the mattresses returned and getting a full refund (without a restocking fee), but I would need to call back today Dec. 6, 2015 due to having to wait for the computer system to update with yesterdays delivery. I called today and talked to a very rude man who said that I must have misunderstood what I was told and that I need to refer to Sears mattress rules (which I never received in the first place). This man would not let me speak, just kept talking over me saying that I have to keep this mattress for 31 days (from Dec. 4th) before I can request for the mattresses to be returned. AND I have to pay 15% restocking fee!! I am supposed to sleep on a mattress where the top stitching is all pulled out?? This is the worst customer service I have ever heard of. They sell defective merchandise and I am supposed to be happy with it????

Why SEARS keeps rejecting this review- AWFUL QUALITY!!! TY PENNINGTON STYLE Mayfield 4 Pc. Deep Seating Set. I bought the four piece set 3 years ago and after the second year showed issues . I loved this furniture until the woven materials became extremely brittle and is now falling off of the frames and is going to the curb tomorrow morning only after 3 years of very little use. The set was under a covered porch which only received the morning sun. We are very very disappointed. I would not recommend this product. SEARS did nothing about it and they asked me to call the manufacturer,the manufactured told me it has only one year warranty and they would not send me the replacement parts even if I paid for. Believe me don't buy it or you will regret it later, is not even worth 200 dollars. I will stay away from SEARS and TY PENNINGTON PRODUCTS THEY BOTH DON'T CARE FOR THE AFTER SERVICE. Mario

Technician came out and confirmed glass was shattered but could not authorize range replacement. He gave me number of Sears customer solutions, 877.878.3687, I figured one more call couldn't hurt so I called, got Beth, she listened to my problem and they are delivering new range this week.

I would suggest any problems, call this number first, I wasted 2 days on customer service. Thanks.

No resolution at store so I called customer service regarding shattered glass on 2 month old gas range. After several calls and being on hold for 20 minutes at 11 am, they called back 10:30 pm, woke me up to read their policy from script. No resolution and could not understand because call came from India. Absolutely worst customer service ever. They are sending technician to determine problem, guess they don't believe glass really shattered after giving photos to sales manager at store. Instead of saying "sorry for your problem", they are questioning my request for replacement range. Never again sears, you've definitely lost this customer.
