The 30 day return policy is ridiculous!!!!! Bought a skirt & top.
Was not feasible to alter, so tried to return to store of purchase. Handed a REFUND DECLINE slip with an 800 number ( useless to call any Sears number as you only hear the same robotic answer....."30 day return policy, no exceptions"). Policy NOT stated on receipt. Told that I should have checked online.
If the return policy is 30 days, can't the idiots in corporate print such at bottom of the receipt? This appears to be a deliberate scheme to scam customers. Will NEVER do business with Sears again. Who wants to do any type of business with a company that treats customers with such little respect after a purchase.
I don't know of any other retail store with such ridiculous policies on a clothing item. Good by to Sears.
This company deserves to be in the financial strain it is in. Hope others also take their business and money elsewhere, too.
