I told them I did not want a different model, I wanted a refund. It took them 3 days to cancel the order and now they are saying it will be another 7 business days before I receive a refund. Sears sold me a product they didn't have and then held my money for 2 weeks....

Sears - Bad customer service

The associate in the appliance department did not resolve my problem. When I asked him to call his manager he ignored that saying she is busy. I was very unsatisfied and never going to shop in Sears at Sunrise mall any more

At Tucson Mall, looked to buy a TV, but no TVs. Went to buy a 1/4 drive torque set. Was sent to several locations to find it. Finally, frustrated, gave up. Sales person wouldn't get off their duff to show where to find. Is this why Wall Mart and Harbor Freight are thriving??

Sears in Nanuet, New York - Worse tire buying experience

The sales person at the Nanuet NY Sears wouldn't order me my tires, and said I have to do it myself on line. This was Wednesday, 9-27-17 @ 3PM. Older male person and very rude kept trying to sell me expensive Michelin tires instead of the ones I saw at Sears on line. So I went to Mavis and they took care of me well with 4 tires installled with the same Sears on line price matched for 330.00 / similar tires. Sears were the Radar, and Mavis gave me the ironman. Sorry to say now I know why Sears stock doesnt do so well ! They lack customer service with disrespectful sakesman who must work on commission to rip people off. In addition, I asked the salesman about the Patriot tires Sears has advertised there in the showroom and he simply told me they don't come in my size ! That was wrong because Patriot does make the 205 65 15 tire for my Camry - In short, that person should be fired and people friendly people should replace terrible salespeople who dont want to help, but only want to sell people expensive tires some unfortunate people just cant afford ! Sales employee had the wrong price of item on the tag. Told me it was 60.00 then said the sale expired and they forgot to change the sign on the bed. So I asked how much it was and couldn't get a straight answer. she was rude and made the experience a taxing one. Wouldn't go here again just for the service. I'll pay more to go somewhere else and receive better customer service.

I attempted to return 3 items after 30 days, but wasn't allowed to receive my money, exchange or a store credit even though I had my receipt. The receipt does not have a return by date nor states it must be returned by 30 days! The sales associate told me that I shoild have read the small print sign in front of the register upon purchasing the items. Really? When I called customer service and was finally able to speak with a representative, she said I should have gone to their website and read the policy online. What? Sears shoild print the exact amount of time allowed for returns, exchanges or store credit ON the receipt!!! Not a happy customer!!! :(

Sears in Houston, Texas - Purchase applicances elsewhere or do without!!

I purchased a wall oven from Sears. The installer said the existing space was not tall enough. I had a handyman here who immediately began to make the adjustment. The installer said he had other installations in the area and would return to install the oven before leaving the area. He left the oven in my driveway. I placed 2 calls to him which he did not answer before calling Sears delivery. Sears called the installer's supervisor - no answer; then the installer - no answer. While Sears is relating this to me the installer calls me to say he is on the other side of town. They want to offer me next day installation. Not possible. I talk to 3 different Sears reps. They offer me gift cards of $50.00 - $300.00 but never a satisfactory installation date. I tell Sears to pick up the oven and refund my monies. Pick up scheduled for Tuesday between 4 - 6pm. Surprise! No one picks up the oven on Tuesday. I talk to 2 CSAs on Tuesday. The final was another manager who again promised to escalate to the opening manager, who would call me on Wednesday. Did not happen. I have spoken to 3 different Sears representatives today, before 11 am CST. The oven is to be picked up 9/24. We'll see. The saga continues. I will never make another purchase at Sears. The sales representative was excellent and knowledgeable, but if you cannot walk out of the store with the item, you are doomed to a black hole of contractors, who have no allegiance to Sears and customer service representatives who have no skin in the game. I'd prefer to dig *** in the ground to bake than be subjected to this level of ineptitude.
