I purchased a refrigerator from Sears in Aug 2011, it started leaking water from underneath June 2012. I called Sears 4 times and was passed around to several depts.

finally talked to a service tech, said he would call back and schedule a time to come out/ never called or came.I waited, Sept. 10th I called Sears again, was told warranty expired on Aug 9th, and would not honor warranty. Said Sears Mastercard had extended warranty for additional 12 mo to contact them. called credit card, was told Sears was responsible since was reported in June.

NOBODY will fix my fridge/ They are passing responsbility, BUT my firdge is stil leaking and Sears tells me I am responsible for the cost to repair. Walmart would honor their policy if they had this problem, I will NEVER purchase from Sears again!!

I will find a company that will honor their warranty . DO NOT SHOP SEARS OR Mastercard.

I just saw this online and wanted to let the above commenter know that the leakage problem has forced Sears into redesigning the part. Please contact them and they will replace it for free.

My warranty was expired, my floor was wet and I thought the kids had been leaving the freezer open.

Turns out it is a badly designed drainage tube issue. Call 1.800.253.1301 and schedule an appt!
