Sears used a 3rd party shipper that scammed me
I purchased a pair of size 8 shoes from Sears online. Sears confirmed receipt of my order.
Sears emailed me when they processed my order and shipped my purchase "from their warehouse". Sears let me know they tracked my order & it was delivered. Immediately upon receipt of the box of shoes (mailed to me in a white padded envelope), I opened the box and found that the shoes, in the box for a size 8, both had a big red sticker with an underlined size 6 on them. I immediately took a picture and emailed it, replying to one of Sears' emails to me, and let them know that I received the wrong size shoes.
I received an email back, apologizing and saying that they should have been checked before they left the warehouse. "They" mailed a return label so I could return the shoes. After I tracked them back to the shipper, I requested a refund. Come to find out, Sears used a 3rd party shipper, Peltz Shoes, that said I mailed back the wrong shoes and Sears refused my refund.
It took weeks of battling through PayPal to get Sears to refund my money, after Sears chose to use a 3rd party shipper that scammed me! Buyers Beware!
