DONT BUY FROM SEARS

I ordered a washing machine. Free installation on delivery. Found out morning of after speaking with delivery person, that a new hose is required for installation. After 2 hours being transferred back and forth between completely incompetent representatives, my call was ended and unable to call back due to "technical difficulties".

I don’t think anybody still does buy appliances at Sears. They are a bankrupt company that doesn’t back anything they sell

I will never ever use Sears or Kmart again. Have rentals and have bought Kenmore appliances for 40 plus yrs. In the last 3 months purchased 5 different appliances and all 6 of them they screwed up the delivery and install. Those stupid delivery people couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag. Their customer service people are overseas - can barely be understood - couldn't get an order - delivery - reinstall correct if their live depended on it. I am glad the store is going out of business so they stop screwing over customers. They can't install a simple washer/dryer laundry center with having to come back over and over again. Told us we needed different parts to go with the new machines but we spent over $80 buying the ones they said on their website we had to have. Called out a plumber and another appliance person to fix what Sears was to install and they said the parts we had were correct.

Sears - Worst Treatment As A Paying Customer

I ordered a washing machine from Sears. I paid for installation and new hoses. They scheduled installation for over 1 week out. We were out of town so we had some at the house to not delay further. The installers could not figure out how to shut the water off in our 2006 built home. My brother went down stairs with me on the phone and shut it off. When he came back the installers left unannounced, installation not taken place and did not leave the hoses. I called sears 10 mins later. They stated the installers needed a master plumber in order to complete and wanted to schedule another time to come out to finish 6 days later... i said i would install can they credit me the installation fee and the hoses (about $90). They said they could credit the hoses but i would need to go to a store to get the money. I went to the local store in the area i was visiting and they said that they were not a corporate store and could not help. I went to the store in Ann Arbor MI store upon my return home, the manager laughed at me and asked how he would know i am not just trying to get free hoses? He said he would refund if i can show the hoses...the ones i paid for but never got. I promised him that i would be sharing my story and vowed not it to shop at Sears ever again. Very poor customer service...caused me a ton of trouble, more money and in the end was called a liar.

Sears in Seattle, Washington - Water damaged on my brand new home

Bought refrigerator, washer and dryer from sears. The delivery team that delivered and installed failed to do the most standard and basic thing on installing a washer, they failed to apply or check that the hose for the hot and cold line did not have a rubber gasket. This happen late may 2016 after we have moved in. Two weeks later, my wife almost slipped on the floor from the water leaking from downstairs ceiling. I thought it was an plumbing issue, because it was a brand new home, so I contacted the builder and they came out right away to assessed the situation. They found out that the water was coming from the hose line where it was connected on the faucet. When they found out Sears had installed it they left. I contacted Sears, explained what had happened and there claims department put the blame on the delivery team. They said she will contact them and they will get back with me. I understand that it was their delivery's team fault, but it was still SEARS contractors, why do I have to deal with the delivery team that they contracted. I should have gotten reimbursement from Sears and they should of came after their own delivery team. I decided to have my ceiling fix out of my own pocket, since I know It wasn't going to be fix in a timely manner, after waiting couple of weeks. Who wants to walk in to their brand new home and have to see *** in the ceiling everyday. Contacted by XPO logistics which was the delivery's teams claims department. After all the evidence was presented, a Mr. Vega a rep stated it will be 7-14 business days for my reimbursement. 22 business days later no check, so I decided to email him back. He looped the issue to a manager and got back to me, with an apology, stating my claim has been suspended due to incomplete info, mined you these guys has my full contact information. Why was I not contacted to let me know what was going on. I was again looped to another claims manager and told me that they will have to send out a released form before they can released the money.. Again I asked on the email, why was I not made aware of this released form from the beginning, no explanation. I got the released form on my email and reviewed it. I emailed them back few times and told them that the amount on the released form they reimbursing me was inaccurate. Days later no reply.....So hear I am it is now 8-21-16 and still no contact back from XPO and still waiting on the revised released form.... How frustrating... Oh and I forgot to mention the Delivery Team Company, it is Borthers Delivery LLC. All I have to say is I believe in karma, these guys never even contacted me to apologized for damaging my brand new home.....I will add photos and and videos later on...

Sears is the WORST!

Bought a new washer and dryer, they didn't bring the right parts to install them, rescheduled me for a week later with the correct parts. Showed up the next week and before I could answer the guard house call (after they were already 30 minutes late from their scheduled time), they said we can't wait here (after 2 minutes) and left the parts. I immediately called and got in touch with their dispatch, who told me it was too late in the day for them to come back and want me to reschedule for another week. *** Sears, I will never do business with them again. Driver should be fired. If I had an employee who was so inept they would be fired on the spot.
