Purchased refrigerator from Sears online. Compressor went out after 6 weeks and they wouldn't do anything.

Sears wanted me to buy warranty plan from them for approximately $93 and they would send out repairman. Otherwise, they said Frigidaire had the manufacturer's warranty and they would have to take care of sending out a repairman to look at refrigerator. It took 6 days for Frigidaire to get a repairman out. He said it would take a new compressor which he thinks the job could be up to $600 to fix.

The repairman will have to give this order to Frigidaire and then they will decide on the next step.

It is taking up to 2 weeks to get it repaired, so I just have to be without a refrigerator for this time frame. Very disappointed in Sears and will not buy from them again.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $615.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
