My husband, who has used air compressors for 50 years, bought one at Sears yesterday. The gauge control would not turn and the female coupling on the compressor was frozen and would not accept any male couplings.
Box appeared to have been opened and re taped. When he took it back with receipt today, he was informed that there was nothing wrong with the compressor and that if he returned it, there would be a 15% restocking fee. The young man who was in charge thought he knew more than anyone. We paid the fee and left but we will NEVER buy another product from Sears because of how insolently we were treated.
